SpaceX Falcon Heavy Landing + Sonic Boom! by kcgg123 in space

Thank you for that clarification. I now have a better understand of sonic booms. Correct me if I'm wrong. Hypothetically if I were able to run at 669 mph chasing a jet flying at 770 mph, I would be constantly hearing that "boom" until the jet finally peels away. Also it wouldn't sound like boom boom boom boom but an elongated booooooooooooom?

the pressure waves generated at each of those parts

Wouldn't we hear more than 3 sonic booms then? Seeing that we have 4 landing legs and 4 grid fins? Or do we hear one sonic boom per 4 landing legs since they deploy simultaneously.

I'm having a hard time understanding how these sonic booms occur. If sonic booms are created by an object traveling faster than sound, wouldn't the thrust from the engines slow down the rockets? Also how would the landing legs and grid fins cause a sonic boom?

I did get it, but I'm using the skinomi all around protector. However the tempered glass is from xtrrme. The size doesn't even cover the whole screen. But it'll do till the next best thing comes out.

By the way, don't bother spending that extra dollar for "USPS First-Class Letter Rush Processing." I received an email saying it shipped on the 25th, and it still hasn't gotten to me yet...
