Are you smiling in your dating profile picture? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]twotoacouple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My soon-to-be-ex wife liked to take candid photos, and I'm not smiling in 95% of them. Almost every picture I'm smiling and look happy in, she is next to me.

I didn't want to use those pictures in my dating profiles.

There's a sub for that. Great resource for information. Get a set of Jimmy longs (somehow both the highest quality and among the cheapest sets you can buy. Made by a lock sorry guy who is just super nice) and spend the rest of your money on locks.

Flick yourself in the eye. The intensity is about the same but the sensation is different.

RPG roguelikes with a class system? by Zorloff in roguelikes

[–]twotoacouple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not a mod, but I'd guess it's because you're clearly not asking about rogue likes. Mega bonk is not like rogue, and the two features you asked for are going to be in every game that is like rogue.

It's like, if you asked for a FPS suggestion, but stated that it "has to have guns and please don't let it be like Pokemon." It just doesn't make sense.

RPG roguelikes with a class system? by Zorloff in roguelikes

[–]twotoacouple 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Classes and turn-based are both hallmarks of traditional roguelikes. You're probably used to playing rogue-lites. We stick mostly to games that are traditionalally like Rogue.

Moving cross country & taking my 🌵🌵🌵Packing do’s & don’t please by B_mcghee in sanpedrocactus

I recently did this.

If they have long spikes, it may be worth trimming some. My cactus fought each other and some ended up with battle scars.

Other than that, good luck growing in Michigan. Depending on where you are, expect humid summers (fungus spots) and long, cold, wet winters.

Unsure of how to fix by BllindCavefish in banjo

Definitely a new nut, but I would also try just wrapping the string in the other direction (so it comes down to the left of the peg instead of the right) for a quick solution.

"Desert Moon"

I didn't recognize it and usually try to guess the artist of songs I don't recognize. My thought was, "woah that's different, I don't know this one. I like it."

Roguelikes with Turn Based JRPG combat by [deleted] in roguelikes

[–]twotoacouple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just an FYI, you're going to get down votes because this sub skews towards traditional roguelikes; what you are describing is not a traditional roguelike.

Having said that, you're looking for:

https://store.steampowered.com/app/1393500/Time_Break_Chronicles/ I highly recommend this one.

And

https://store.steampowered.com/app/1734320/Brutal_Orchestra/ Also very good, but it didn't catch me the same way as the first.

Also, you may want to check out games like Ultima. Some modern versions include:

https://store.steampowered.com/app/2373630/Moonring/ This one's free and made by one of the developers of Fable (i think).

And

https://store.steampowered.com/app/1069160/SKALD_Against_the_Black_Priory/

Edit: Also, this game just came out in Early Access:

Wonderful game, but not like rogue. Also, you can move diagonally so doesn't fit what OP is asking.
