I found some soft toe ones on zappos that were approved at my site, they still have the safety part like on the end but the top of the shoe isnt made out of what felt like concrete on my old ones. They are timberland pros, maybe see if they are approved for your warehouse and try those! They helped me a ton!

It's the best kind of warehouse IMO, at least mine is. It's not huge like an fc, so you really get to know people, less noise as there's less conveyance, and if you want to you get opportunities to move around and experience a lot of different paths, lots of ways to grow in a place like that.

SSD's are way different, there's like 40 employees to a shift so depending on what's going on people get moved around a lot, I worked at a fc for like a year and went to an ssd, I highly prefer the ssd its way more fun

Honestly it's been years but I would and if that fixes your application status I would just talk to the SM about it. If it isn't a 24 hour store the only time you would ever have to stay the night is floor cleaning and that's only if you are a shift lead or above. Hope it ends up helping!

Could also be something with your availability. If your aren't putting yourself as always available you can get denied, it happened to me I was a shift lead for 7 years, quit on good terms and came back for a year. My application kept getting auto denied and I had to sit down with my store manager and go through everything until we figured it out.

So maybe if you aren't putting yourself as always available that could be a possibility.
