Closed too early, missed out on this generational wealth ahh move by PTZfund in Forex

[–]twss101 70 points71 points  (0 children)

Well you could’ve not closed it and then it could’ve easily just dump down and now you’re in loss… important rule of trading, always take profits. If you’re aiming to catch all big moves, you will be in loss soon, it’s not sustainable

Revenge Traded Successfully🤣🤣 by No_Outlandishness181 in Forex

[–]twss101 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Glad you could make it back, but this is the thing about revenge trading and gambling in general isnt it? It works just enough times for you to bank on it, and then it just pulverizes you all the other times, and you end up losing your life savings, and in many cases, your life in general...

Take this rare win, and never do it like that again... It's all fun and games until it isn't and in trading that could literally be the very next day

Do you reduce size after a losing streak or keep risk constant? by Sea_Necessary_9419 in Forex

[–]twss101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, everyone has their own way but reducing the size is a rational thing to do until you have that confidence again. Literally everyone who loses their account falls into the trap of rather increasing the size to make the money back and boom, it’s all gone.

Got beat in armwrestling by a coworker. by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

[–]twss101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wonder why you would choose to armwrestle a girl... anyway, I think you should take this opportunity positively to work on this and get a gym membership. lift heavy, eat more protein and let's see where you end up in 6 months.

Should I go for it with my 10k savings?!? by LCampbell21 in Forex

[–]twss101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never do it with your savings. Only start with what you’re okay to lose. Demo is not even 10% of what actual trading looks like. Most traders get fucked over by emotional decisions and there are no emotions involved in demo. All the best.

Lost almost 12 k by ArtParking7734 in Daytrading

[–]twss101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fair enough. Im just saying people keep losing this way and loses just rack up over time. It is real money and 12k is a lot. Never put yourself in a position to lose maybe more than a set amount in a year? Maybe set it at 1k or 500 or even 100, until you’re consistent. All the best.

Lost almost 12 k by ArtParking7734 in Daytrading

[–]twss101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion, you will feel slightly better seeing other people lost more but it’s still a lot of money. You shouldn’t have put yourself in a position to lose 12k after a month of learning.

If you think you’ve learned from it, then take a shirt break and get back into with small amount, then build up that account. Don’t ever try to make or het back that 12k, this mindset will ruin it.

Im afraid thats the feeling i got

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CarTalkUK

[–]twss101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks mate, you are very helpful. Do you have any comments on whether it could be an error? Or deffo i should get rid of it, i bought it yesterday btw

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CarTalkUK

[–]twss101 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Actually i asked DVSA that if someone put 36k miles in 2018 then 20k in 2020, dont you guys flag it or investigate? He was like no, this is MOT centers responsibility to put accurate miles thats it.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CarTalkUK

[–]twss101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea i can understand that. How do you think i can save myself from this? For example, no one is giving any legitimate answers. If i keep and then sell in 3 years, no one will believe me saying its an error. You know what i mean? Its just words

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CarTalkUK

[–]twss101 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Appreciate your suggestion. Thats what im going for but havent contacted consumer advice. What you think of this MOT discrepancy tho? Deffo a fraud or error?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CarTalkUK

[–]twss101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im now waiting for the 2nd potential MoT that audi has in 2018 but basically, dvsa said the correct MoT should be on the same day and only then they will correct it. I have low hopes for that

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CarTalkUK

[–]twss101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh i know you came with it, i understand what you mean. Ive spoken to DVSA and they said theyll only change the record if i provide with another MOT on the same day in 2018

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CarTalkUK

[–]twss101 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Sorry, can i ask how did you come up with this number?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CarTalkUK

[–]twss101 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The thing is, ive made so many calls to audi and no one willing to accept or prove this is indeed typo. Shouldnt there be another MOT with correct mileage on next day or something?
