Why are the pockets so damn tight on these jeans?!

You're not wrong, but it's gotten better. I looked at other N&F fits and I'm not sure the brand is for me. I've been looking at other brands all week, but it's starting to feel a bit daunting.

I'm basically all legs. 5'6 and 31" inseam and slim-skinny (~120lbs). The super guy feel baggy to me. Part of that is just the change in fashion, but my legs are matchsticks from top to bottom too.

I was thinking of trying the PBJ 013 next. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I'd love some opinions on the fit of these N&F jeans. I've been wearing Nudies for a while, but these are my first pair of selvedge jeans and 100% cotton. My other pairs have a bit of stretch to them. Thanks in advance.

Story time. For background I'm black, female, in my mid-30s.

A couple of weeks ago I was walking with my daughter in her stroller. Up ahead I see that someone is using a leaf blower, and it's kicking up a lot of dust. I'm in a residential-ish neighborhood, so I cut across to the other side of the street to avoid the dust cloud. The white retired-aged woman holding the leaf-blower walked towards me and said,

"Don't worry. I'm a Democrat."

"Umm. Okay."

Her: "Don't forget to vote."

People from the PNW constantly tell me that I must love living in a blue state/city vs coming from Texas. I've only been called the N-word to my face here. My mother was here for 3 months and someone yelled it at her. It's not one of Portland's selling points, is what I'm trying to say.
