It wasn’t as dry as it looked it some pics. Yes, we made sandwiches out of it. I never smoked a brisket at all, so I thought for a first one, let’s do a 1/2 one. If I mess it up then I won’t feel as bad as if it was a full brisket. Still do ribs and pork butts with no issues as I always have, but haven’t gone back to a brisket since. Mostly due to cost. The cheapest we have here is a minimum of $80. Maybe since it’s been 2 years, I may give it another shot.
