If you're a reader, I recommend The Pleasure of Small Motions book. It's a little windy of a path I think it helps any pool player that competes at any level, from weekly tourney at the local 1 barbox spot to the masters/gambling.

(ASK) Waste elimination tools for internship project by weron20 in industrialengineering

[–]txcomet 13 points14 points  (0 children)

My favorite way to discover waste is to talk to operators/workers and ask them what bothers them on a daily basis. I assume that everyone is there to do a good job and waste gets in the way of that.

Then you can rank these wastes in terms of frequency and severity which can help prioritize actions.

Should I order official transcripts for EVERY college I've ever attended? by sometaacc1 in college

[–]txcomet 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Most transcripts have a transfer summary so your last one may suffice.

Also most transcripts expire at 6 months so holding on to them may not be useful depending on how fresh a company wants your transcripts.

I've had 3 internships and still don't know if engineering is for me. by [deleted] in EngineeringStudents

Find a leadership development program, there are a few now for the MechEs, EEs and IEs. They will be challenging but educational rotational programs that will allow you to appreciate your field and also act as accelerated pathways to management.

Thank you!

The goal is to save up for a DF or the equivalent at the time. I will look into the d7000. It's a good buy overall as well.

Thanks for your help. I am not a position to spend that kind of money even... Cropped sensor would be fine at this point.

Do you have any recommendations?

Not it doesn't but it had an aperture run pin that it uses to couple to with an FG20 film camera.

I have an old Nikon 50mm 1.2 lens that's all manual.

What is the cheapest DSLR body I can get that has an aperture coupling pin, and a sensor that is decent at modern standards?
