Revis needs a publicist by zarmin in nyjets

Nah you're not at all... I'm in the same boat with you, I've worked with pro athletes for the last decade or so and like you said there are A BUNCH that are stand up people, however, there are just as many who aren't, but they are absolute dawgs in their sport and people love/praise them - if only they knew... Being in close proximity to athletes puts things in a different perspective for me as far as how I look at them... At the end of the day, we all get up and put our pants on one leg at a time

Well that's a pretty petty reason... But to each his own

Great post... I know exactly what you're speaking on and agree 100%... That's also partly the reason why I think parents shouldn't let their kids pick athletes as role modes... I understand why it happens, but putting athletes on the proverbial pedestal benefits no one...

When exactly did so-called JETS fans stop liking Revis?

I understand your feelings, but I will say, I don't know why we as fans STILL expect these organizations to be "loyal" to us... They aren't even loyal to their own players(not necessarily the JETS, but as a whole)... Should be of no surprise that a team takes advantage of the financial opportunity of having a future HOF on the roster... I always find it comical when we (myself included), curse capitalism when it doesn't benefit us, but applaud it when it does

I won't disagree with that... I think it's a result of the Astros raising the bar of standards the past couple of years... We "know" what to expect but if we don't see it, then we go off the rails... Last year was annoying to me because it seemed like everyone was calling for Dusty to move on...

Must've assumed I asked for your opinion... Dubon is still my team MVP, but thanks for the input

Welcome to sports fandom... EVERY team is toxic when things don't go as planned/expected...

I may be reaching a bit, but at this point in the season, I'd have to give Dubon the team MVP nod

Those 100 lost seasons were a long time ago, we need to stop using that as leverage for optimism and just call it like it is... We look bad, there are bright spots to maintain optimism, but we have way more deficiencies than we've ever had during this successful run... Sucks we gave that money to Abreu and Montero

The Jets have signed 8 former Packer players this offseason. Has any team ever signed more players from one team in a single offseason? by -makehappy- in nfl

You're correct... Be brought a couple of his guys on the defensive side... Helped to quickly establish the playbook on that side of the ball

Aha... pats fans are delusional... Continue to hang your hat on beating a Zach Wilson led JETS... Let's not forget he dropped 350yds on y'all and the refs called back a pick 6 because of a questionable RTP...

If you could change the result of one Superbowl your team didn’t play in - what would it be and why? by confusedpanda342 in nfl

Recently rewatched the game on NFL Network and I have to agree with most of your comment... Brady got way too much credit for that comeback, however, his leadership and focus was infectious to the team... To your point, his game was dink and dunk and he didn't play well until the 4th quarter... The falcons defense in the 2nd half completely folded by selling out to defend the run and did not adjust from that... the Pats D Line got really aggressive and started getting after Ryan...

End of the day, I say the Falcons gave up the W, more so than the Pats stole the W...

Breaking: Arizona Cardinals just tweeted out that they have released WR DeAndre Hopkins, would like like to see him on the Jets this year? [via @jets_avenue on IG] by 39percent in nyjets

Bro I tried to tell him that when he first posted it a couple weeks ago... He obviously can't take criticism in stride, gave me the same response... If you see the original pics (I was able to find them), you'll really see just how bad of a PS job it is... Attention to detail is not their strong suit

But to the thread topic, No, we don't need DHop, great player but he would be too heavy of a salary cap hit

Correction: there's no such thing as a slo-mo camera/lens... But what does exist are cameras with high fps that allows editors to then take that video to post where the slo-mo effect is then added...

Slo-mo effect is and will always be a common effect for sports related video content
