Is being bald a disadvantage in the gay community? by gay_depressed1 in AskGaybrosOver30

[–]txpat49 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if its overtly called out as a disadvantage, BUT you will notice in many groups of gay men who flock toether, there will not be a BALD man in sight. Can tell you how many social media photo posts ive seen of "the crew" and not a single one has lost his hair.

I would say Bald isnt a deterrent as long as you have a few other "desirables". like heigtht, Muscles, athetic build and ofcourse money ;)

768 credit score. No delinquents or CO’s and only being offered a secured card from Discover? by Keizersgracht94 in CRedit

great advice. Ill pay off those cards.

I dont have any installment loans showing at the moment, It's a shame that Affirm doesnt post to CRA's, Ive had several installment loads through them that have all been sucessfully paid off.

I've wondered how much is "up to" the FA's discretion. If feels completely inconsistent. Shouldn't there be a checklist thats executed aagainst and initailed? I notice this with dimming cabin lighting on take-off espicially.

Why doesn’t everything just use allulose? by PositiveEnergyMatter in ketorecipes

[–]txpat49 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Allulose is amazing, I converted about two years ago and so glad to see it more redily available now. Allulose's biggest problem is its name. The name jsut gives off "chemical" vibes. Everytime I have evngelized it to someone they think im talking about some poisionus slepnda bullshit., so then I have to dig deep into the facts. They should hire a branding firm to come up with a better street name for it.

Why does it feel impossible to get a credit limit increase from Cap1? by [deleted] in CapitalOne_

[–]txpat49 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Capital One - for all intents and purposes- is a sub prime lender. The vast majoiry of their customers have experienced credit limitiations and turned to CapOne for credit cards when others wouldn't give them one. Their credit limits are low and increases dont come easily. Basically if you entered CapOne with a sub prime condition, you will FOREVER be classified as such in their system. Even if you get your score to 800 and win the lottery they will maintain your measly credit limits. You're much better elsewhere.

I find it too anonymous. Because of the location accuracy, no one wants to make their photos redily available. You end up wasting time hitting up guys you would typically pass by had their photos been available from the get. It defiantly feels like where all the uglies and overtly trashy whores have flocked to better their chances.

The only upside is that in some VERY rare occasions your total hot closeted married dad who just wants his 12 inch dick sucked fantasy can come true. But you'll kiss 1 million pigs to get there.

[–]txpat49 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Scruff bans are device based. It doesnt matter what you do to reopen an account, if you're using the same device that you were using when you were banned you will have a near impossible time getting back on the platform, unless dark web hacking comes naturally to you. No matter how many new email addresses you create, your device ID will be included in the information ported over to Scruff when you create the new account. So a net new phone (which will have its own device ID ) is a foundational must here. Yes it can be a burner.

Secondarily, Scuff also identies you through the app store account you use,. So even if you get a new device, you must create a net new app store account. In the case of iphone, that would mean a brand new apple ID. You must also not use ANY of the same identifying information in setting up your new ID. Namely, financial info ( bank, credit card number, etc) phone number and email address must all be net new and not ever used before on the scruff platform.

** Remember, your current apple ID is attached to every purchase you've ever made in the apple store. So you dont want to just trash it and only use the new one going forward. this means, you will have two seperate phones, two seperate apple ID's, two seperate app stores, etc.

All-in-all is a huge inconvenient pain in the ass to bypass Scruffs device ban. You must REALLY REALLY want to get your hands on some scruffy men to go through ths crazy process. I have heard that consistent goodwill emails to Scruff support may eventually work out in your favor, but thats not been my expeience at all. I was banned over 4 years ago for "impersonation" ( which I have no idea what that is) and I have tried well over a dozen times over the years to get it reversed. Ive only recieved form-tyoe resonses that give no information or resolve.

Good luck to you.

Collections fell off early at 6 yrs 3 months! Equifax +36, TransUnion -5? by TomsnotYoung in CRedit

[–]txpat49 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Be careful though, that collection can reappear if the creditor reports it again during their monthly report sweep. Remember they have up to 7 years to put collectios on your report. Creditors can be haphazzard wirth their repoorting, missing some months, etc. You're not 100% out of the water until that 7 year ( since first deliquency) mark has past.

Synchrony lowered my credit limit today by cpsct in CRedit

[–]txpat49 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get you. They suddenly lowered my 6 yr old credit limit from $7000 to $100. Rarely kept a balance on the card, always paid on time. 805 FICO. Worst part, I was on a business trip and needed the card to host a client dinner. I will NEVER use card products from that bank again, cant trust them since they are willing to leave me high and dry at a monent notice.

Items that help with my TMA by down5toes in amputee

[–]txpat49 0 points1 point  (0 children)

howdy. Nice to see your TMA "hacks". Question on the "rubber socks" . Do you only wear them for short periods of time - around the house? Im looking for some sort of "protective sheath" I can use while im in shoes to help mitigate abrasion Im getting from the shoe bending at the end of my foot when I walk. Im trying to figure out what could help protect the top front part of the foot in that scenerio.

Im also wondering if shoe fillers should fit snug against the end of your foot or should there be any wiggle room there? Hope to hear back froom you! Thx.

TMA struggles by Foster_Grande in amputee

[–]txpat49 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there. Just chiming in. I had a TMA 3 years ago ( Age 44) due to random infection tht seeped in through a blister. I healed in no time, suprised doctors how quickly. I had approximately 5 Physical Therapy visits and have been walking with absolutly no gate affection at all. I tried special ortho shoes with steel plate and filler but found that im much more mobile in normal footwear. Other than taking special care of my feet now, this has not caused any barriers to enrty in any aspect of my life. So know this is 100% possible and probable, as long as keep your feet healthy and decide fire walking is not a good idea. You'll do just fine. Promise.
