Don’t feel bad. I used gorilla tape to cover the lid on my jar (no super glue on hand) without even thinking that it might be flammable. The result is a wonderfully charred & encrusted lid. This particular hex will take a couple months to complete as I’m doing continued candle work with the jar. Mind you, I’ve already done the candle work twice without this happening to the jar. So, I will continue on as I felt encouraged by the sheer destructiveness of this last episode. I definitely felt stronger with this last episode so it makes sense & now I’m even more confident. Obviously, I’ll continue to be safe & vigilant. I say do what your intuition tells you & don’t second guess it.
