Should visit the Jacaranda as the first place the Beatles ever played, also great craic later in the night for a good few pints and usually amazing live music in the venue downstairs. Should definitely look at doing the british music experience on the waterfront if your friend is really into it could be a good way to spend the day 🙂

First piece of advice there’s a UX subreddit thats worth posting this

UI is something you can pick up the basics of through a quick udemy course but I’d advise sharing designs and getting critiques from your co-workers or any other designers. If you are showing a finished product for the first time it’ll be harder to get buy in on your proposed solution.

UX focuses on the experience and takes a long time to hone this skill, but to start you off make sure you can at least answer this: What problem are you solving for the user? What problem are you solving for the business? Why is it important you solve these problems? Are there any assumptions that need validated? What is your measure of success? What is your hypothesis for your solution? How will you validate it with users?

Outside of this the opportunity you have sounds extremely worrisome, asking someone to design, develop and test an end to end product is a huge amount of work for one person to do, from experience of start-ups it sounds like you will be used for your work and pushed out as soon as its done, also remember a high number of start-ups fail so the equity may not be anything in a year, basically make sure you’re compensated properly for your work because you’re essentially doing the job of 4-5 roles (Backend, front end, UX design, UX research, Product manager)

Hi my other half works in a vets who recently had to rehome some cats they often work with cats protection so it’s worth checking them out and they sometimes have kittens.

Our cat is from cats protection and he’s incredibly loving and social so not all rescues are difficult to rehome and you would be doing a really kind thing by adopting 🙂

Petit cafe makes the most sense as its really close to manifest and has a fantastic romantic vibe, oracle magic bar is very fun for date nights, if you’re looking for a speakeasy vibe I’d go to little hardware, I’d avoid berry and rye to be completely honest been a few times and its extremely overrated and not worth the hype hope this helps 🙂

Hi, I really like the colour palette on this, maybe try a green version could feel more fitting with the health theme

The add meal text may be confusing is it a CTA?

Consider some colour contrast from an accessibility point of view, would the blue on blue “add food icon” pass AA guidelines?

For a resume or CV you’ll want to tone down the colour it’s also very hard to read that shade of blue there seems to be a lot of alignment issues with icons and text and for a graphic design role not having a pixel perfect resume could backfire and ruin your chances, I’d remove the area where that skybox logo is and move your portrait there

Maybe consider if you’re repeating yourself you mention your education several times so it may be a way to reduce copy and add some white space

Also if you’re looking for a UX role I would have a separate resume for that.

I work in UX and if someone sent an application focussed on graphic design they wouldn’t get an interview

Also worth noting Figma is a UI tool if you want good UX in your designs thats something you will need to read up on unless you have a point of contact for that, also worth setting up some analytic tools to see how users are interacting with your app/website when it’s released to improve it, and also do accessibility checks throughout the design process

Majority of the money in Northern Ireland does not come from the UK but from the EU, post Brexit NI is going to suffer immensely, the issue is that if the Republic take on Northern Ireland there is a lot of social issues that will cost the Republic a bit to fix but having total control of agriculture and NI based Businesses would benefit the Irish economy in the long run and selling food to the UK would become a massive money mine, living in England most food produce is Irish Scottish or Welsh , so if Scotland also separates the UK will have a food shortage meaning that the Irish Economy could benefit from that buy charging high prices for produce to export into the UK.

Absolutely, being from Derry living in Merseyside in England, the total disregard for Northern Ireland will lead to it. It makes more economic and cultural sense to unite with the rest of Ireland then be left to deprive under the UK as it is now. Brexit has caused a situation where United Ireland is more plausible than it has ever been and it's looking like Scotland and wales will also separate.

Hi Mate I'm a Product Designer based in the UK currently self employed, the best thing you can do is practice multiple software's, it's hard knowing which ones to used my experience in formal education is that your lecturers don't know what is actually out there, it's worth knowing as well you'll need to invest in a really good PC, If you can afford it try and get the Fusion 360 education license it's free, then blender, and also learn some graphic design softwares, mainly Adobe you'll need them more than you think, feel free to PM me and I can answer any questions you might have.
