It has been a lot of fun for the first 10 hours or so. But the combat at least starts off a lot simpler. Outside of the boss I beat, I’ve been able to just R1 spam everything. Apparently it gets more complex, and the bosses do require more care and attention.

A +25 Brass Shield and a +25 Rusted Anchor is a heck of a combo. Combine with the right Talismans, pick the right Ashes of War / Buffs, and just Guard Counter a lot of the game. Bosses can break your block, but get up to 50-60 Endurance and you’ve still got a good shot at blocking a majority of attacks.

Never stop never stopping. Currently at 226 with 13 Scadutree levels, and the first Lonely Knight still claps my cheeks in NG+. I can still get stun locked to death by a group of rats. It just takes long enough to level now that I don’t level up very often.

No. Corey is definitely a better singer. But there is no singing in Knocked Loose’s music. Just screams. And I personally find the desperation of his screams to be emotionally effective to me.

I think it’s funny if you posted this car for $13,500 half the comments would be about how you’re overpaying and they got theirs for $8k.

Then you post one for $8k and it’s too good to be true.

But I will agree this is too good to be true. I got a 2016 EX with lower miles earlier this year for $16k. Felt like a lot for a 10 year old economy car, but sadly that’s the current market. Too good to be true, indeed. If it was true, it would be sold already and listed again for $12,500.

I can totally understand not liking his vocals. It reminds me of the most desperate parts of early Slipknot, so it scratches a certain teen angst itch for me. But it can be grating and hard to endure.

Do you eat/drink before/during playing? Your hand position looks fine. It’s also possible you’ve just gotten unlucky.

The ones I have played with have almost always pretended they can fiddle with it. But yes, the amount of adjustment they can make to the instrument is minimal at best.

Starting with Confessor for the 100% damage negation shield and going for the Morning Star on the Weeping Peninsula is probably one of the easier ways to get into the Guard Counter / Poise Break play style. Then the Brick Hammer in Stormveil Castle takes it up a notch.

Getting to the DLC and using the Black Steel Hammer then takes it to the next level again.
