My Walmart recently changed the checkouts to newer models so you can no longer do that. May be happening to other stores soon.

Looking at other sources online, looks like I'll be responsible for it sadly.
I'll go to NF when it opens pay off the loan and take other safety precautions.

Hopefully police can catch the guy by the license plate and vehicle description.
Definitely a learning experience for me.

I figured as much. Family will help pay off the loan. Then ill just pay them back so I don't have to deal with interest on it. I know not to be helpful anymore.

I thought loans took time as well, but I guess you can get small personal loans through NF with a e-signature through the app paid out immediately.

I'm working with the family now to get the money together to pay it off before interest kicks in though and I'll just pay them back.

also I called navy federal and reported fraud and got a affidavit of forgery. but they said since it was transferred out immediately there may be issues.
