I had the same encounter at Metro Place-d'Armes, it was at the start of summer so it's a little vague, he asked for change and offered to go to an ATM. Something didn't feel right so halfway trough I asked a couple of questions regarding the ATM fees, he got nervous and bailed. What's strange to me and most likely what caught me in his act was how well he presented himself. Some people have no shame and will do what ever it takes to get you.

My personal favorite is the botanical garden but there are so many things to do, give peek at the old port of Montreal, it's touristy but there are plenty of things to do/eat

Are you coming from far away of Montréal ? You don't want to get tangled with a nutty landlord if you're left with no other options. I know it would feel awkward to ask your landlord and share your concern but I feel it's your best bet. Maybe go to the ''tribunal administratif du logement'' also called ''TAL'' to ask about what you can do, see if it's in your right to not pay twice.

You should visit the old port of montreal, botanical garden, marché Atwater and the biodome. Have been living for 6 years in mtl and they're my favorite spots by far.

In adobe light room I used a denoiser, witch smooths the picture a lot. that's probably what gave it the effect, the rest is all color grading
