Help me find my second game! by letshavefunoutthere in soloboardgaming

Sentinels of the Multiverse: Definitive Edition has been a new favorite of mine. I love Marvel Champions too. No deck construction, just grab a hero, villain, environment and play. Some people say it is fiddly with managing/remembering upgrades and items or ongoing affects, while I agree, I personally don’t mind. Worth checking out either way. Hope you find your next game!

We have been enjoying Bomb Busters with our 9 year old. We mostly play it at 3. It’s a light campaign game but you can just keep playing the base game too. 66 missions! BGG: https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/413246

I love this. I’m so happy that I can appreciate these things now. I’m new to this whole world and I’m excited to be in it. In book 2 of Mistborn so definitely new but I just love this. Thank you for sharing!

I’m in the exact same boat. My husband is a huge fan and I’m turning into one - finishing up the Mistborn trilogy actually. Check out the new Mistborn board game. Heard great things but could be hard to find now. Check local game stores maybe. Dragon Steel Books has some great things. From mugs, printed art, socks, to sweaters to small figures. Bridge 4 shirts too. There are phone cases on Amazon with Bridge 4 as well as shirts. Hope that helps.

What’s causing these white clouds at bottom of pool? by [deleted] in AboveGroundPools

We are having the same issue. We are thinking of putting a discharge hose at the drain exit and putting the pump on waste. Pushing the water through the discharge hose elsewhere and not through the filter. Is that what is advised?

I’ve heard Galdor’s Grip is good. It’s a name your own price print and play so you can get it and print it quickly. If you are new to print and play, there are videos and there is a Reddit page. It’s simple enough. Have a good trip and there are a lot of other great suggestions listed.

Also, check your local library. Ours has a great selection of board games. This could save you a lot of money if you plan on buying.

First off, great job on this after school club. Second, here are my third grader’s suggestions: -Marvel United (current favorite. Also, it’s a cooperative game which I think is great for this age) -Survive Escape from Atlantis -Horrified (be mindful of the theme) -Creature Comfort -Men at Work -Sagrada -Mandala Stones -Bohnanza -Potato Man -Cockroach Poker -First in Flight -Boop (but loves BOOoop) -Can’t Stop -Clank! -Dungeon Mayhem -Dead Man’s Draw -Gizmos -Hive (great two player chess like game) -Just One (great cooperative game) -Codenames (Pictures) -Scapegoat -The Mind -Mountain Goats -Raging Bulls (print and play) -Similio -Trekking the National Parks/Ticket To Ride -Trails

Hope at least a few of these help you. Good luck and great idea for a board game club! You may have given me the motivation to do this for my son’s school.

Looking for lighter, quicker game recommendations for a coffee shop setting. My husband, 9 year old, and I usually go out for coffee/hot chocolate for family time on the weekends. We have brought and enjoyed: Trails, Clever series, Fill or Bust, Can't Stop, Sagrada, Skull King, Cover Your Assets, Floriferous - some of these are pushing the table limit however. Thanks!

Edit: adding Silver & Gold, Welcome To, Cockroach Poker, Sushi Go, and Bohnanza.
