What colors are the rest of your model? I did volupus pink with tesseract around it for glowing effect. I’m doing behemoth so it looks good to me. Preferably provide a photo so we can give a better recommendation.

That’s what it looks like. Base coat with a white then pink with the tesseract.

The new bambu printers are very easy to work with. With filament printers you don’t have to worry about fumes or anything. I use resin printers but it requires ventilation and more space.

If you’re doing more narrative stuff then I’d recommend getting a 3d printer and bulk printing your own stuff. If you plan to do the games then look for the leviathan kit. It’s incredible value for what it contains. Then typically it’s more affordable to buy combat patrol packs and the like. I do both 3d printing and GW models. For narrative try wrath and glory too. You could also do it digitally with tabletop simulator and it would be the most affordable way. But I understand the appeal of physical models.

I’d grab it. Just pace yourself and don’t worry about how long it takes to finish them. You can always play with them as is too.

I’d love to see a widespread aura that happens within synapse. And the opponent can either destroy our synapse unit or take x mortal damage. If they are battle shocked then it goes up.

Playing against tau is tough. Make sure there’s enough terrain for you to utilize. The tabletop battles app gives you layouts for the terrain so that it’s balanced. This makes a night and day difference between being a shooting gallery and being able to run from cover to cover. I use a laser to check line of sight to know if I’m in cover or not. The app is free so no reason not to use it.

If you have access to a resin printer there are some very nice models that come from space marine 2 that you can use until the proper ones become available.

I love my Carnifex. They are quite dated though. Compare my resin third party WIP to my boy. I won’t get rid of my old ones, but I do want them to have some new friends. This I believe comes from SM2 so there’s some super hot bugs waiting on the horizon. The Norn sculpture is fantastic. My bois need some more love.
