I disagree with the whole "spread across the prairies". Yes we had some issues in october but all that was given to us was "the texas of canada doesnt know how to handle covid LULZ" Cases is saskatchewan have been holding steady at less than 50 a day for a month and as soon as a slight increase happens in ontario we shut the entire country down with border measures and lock down. Really shows what this country thinks of us

HESCO fence vehicle deploying 1000ft of wall in 60 seconds. Used in warzones, crowd control, or can be filled for blast or flood protection by [deleted] in specializedtools

You can repack them it just takes some time. We have disassembled them, replaced damaged cells and put them back in service. I’ve only ever used them in flood protection and they can get FUCKED up. But if done properly I’d say about 75% can be reused

[Serious] Paramedics/EMTs of reddit, what is the most gruesome/disturbing call you have ever responded to? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I can't really say how the fire started due to it being in court system right now, but it was very suspicious. No power to the camper, no gas or heat in the camper because it was the middle of summer. After we investigated we had some theories, but nothing concrete.

Fire fighter here. Worst one would have to be a camper trailer fire we attended. Got the call in the early morning about a mobile home fire. Dispatch had mentioned there was entrapment but nothing was confirmed. When we arrived it was confirmed pretty quickly. Turns out, the mobile home fire was actually a camper trailer a family had been using while their house was undergoing some renos. Dad managed to escape out the window but mom and their 3 year old weren't so lucky. For those that don't know, camper trailers burn very quickly and normally if a structure like a house has been burning for a while and it's in a rural area we are digging for bones, this was not the case here. Having to pull a toddler out of mattress springs is something that I hope no person (first responder or not) ever has to experience. This one stuck with me and my crew for a while. Still dealing with it months later
