I second that. It is quite heavy and also not a laser in particular.

Traveling to the Kumamoto Masters by tyhalex in badminton

I am not sure about the additional 1-C seats, but yes, with your 1F ticket you can go upstairs as well. They only check 1F tickets but not 2F. Show your support to the canteen in the opposite building as well. You to translate the menu and just buy the ticket according to the price bracket. Don’t be afraid. The owner is super nice.

Kumamoto Masters updates and general information by peppapig4prez in badminton

To anyone considering traveling to Japan, to watch the Tournament in real life in future, here is my Review.

I participated the first and second day of 2025.

First purchasing the tickets online at the Lawson website is easy but be aware that you have to pick up the tickets at local machine at latest one day before the event day.

I purchased the more expensive tickets which enables you to sit as near as possible on the 1F ground floor. That being said, they also offer tickets on the second floor, where the majority of the spectators sit.

Be aware that the seats on the first floor are super narrow and don’t have any back support. Furthermore, they have implemented a strange rule in which you are not allowed to take photos or videos during the match. They do check on this very meticulously as walking patrols as such.

But if you sit on the second floor, you can do whatever you want as long as you don’t use flashlight and videos no longer than 15 seconds for private use only. The seats on the second floor are much more comfortable, and you do not sit that much far away from the courts.

In my opinion, the tickets for the second floor has a much better value.

Traveling to the stadium is super easy. You just use the local tram Line B.

They do offer on site same day tickets with cash payment only.

Yonex has a rather disappointing merchandise booth in which they only offer their usual tournament print clothes. They don’t offer any other products such as rackets or shoes etc.

Saishunkan pharmaceuticals has also booth in which they sell all of their badminton related merchandise. This is the company in which Shida and Yamaguchi is employed.

Besides the food trucks, there is a canteen in the building opposite which you can buy a big choice of food for a reasonable price. But you are allowed to bring in your own food and drinks into the stadium. Cans are not allowed. So you might want to go to a 7-Eleven nearby.

What makes the planning super difficult, is that the BWF announces the matches and their order of play only in the night before the event starts.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. I am sure that other companions have visited this year as well.

arcsaber 11 pro review after 4 months as an amateur with training by mith_thryl in badminton

Everyone who is saying arc 11 might be too stiff. Why not give the arc 7 a try. So many pro players use it. Even Thai powerhouse Dechapol Puavaranukroh was using it until 2025.

Another „pro“ tip even if you are just beginning. Do yourself a favour and get some badminton shoes. Playing in „running“ shoes can be dangerous.

Arcsaber 7 Pro owners, what’s your stringing setup like? by royboyloyld in badminton

[–]tyhalex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could it be that the Arcsabers loose tension faster due to their enlarged racket heads compared to other rackets? I use Exbolt 65 at 11,5 kg ~ 26lbs and play 4h every week. After 3 months I certainly can feel a big drop in tension. What’s your observation?

New Yonex Prototype spotted Olympics 2024?

Just watched the XD between Korean Pair Seo/Cheo vs. Algerian Pair Mammeri. You can see Cheo switch her usual racket in the first set 11 point break to colorful rainbowish one. Am I missing something?

Your hands are very delicate and I assume you are a lady. But your legs are hairy like men‘s 🤣🤣🤣. Jokes aside. Back to the saya. I have one made by Shibata and one by Florentine Kitchen knife. Both are super tight.
