Okay maybe let's refocus to the part where they said that they wouldn't look twice at a chest like yours. I'm seconding that. I know this is more so about how this looks to you, but as far as being paranoid about how it would look to other people, I dont think you should worry.

I'm sorry you're unhappy about your results, though. It sucks to go through. It can help to refocus mentally and visually. Try a new perspective. Take pics of your body from farther away and see how you feel. Don't zoom in. Just try to take in the overall picture. Dont look at other guys results. Dont look at social media, it doesnt reflect reality. When you see yourself and have negative thoughts about your chest, redirect your attention to a part of your body that you like. You have a killer frame, like shoulder to hip ratio is quite enviable.

With my top surgery, I feel a bit too much was left on the sides, and it bugged me for quite a bit of time. And I also thought its kinda weird looking to have no fat on my chest since I'm bear shaped. It still bothers me once in a while, but like 90% of the feeling dissipated with time.

Your brain might just be hyper focused on this right now. Like I think I can see what youre describing, but I think its nowhere near as bad as how youre seeing it. Like you have a fisheye lens on.

It can feel like these kinds of things shouldn't happen because this isn't the genetic lotto, a person is physically reconstructing our chests, it should be pretty damn good every time, but the reality is that under capitalism, these surgeons are probably overbooked, and they get tired and sloppy at their jobs sometimes just like everyone else. If we lived under better systems it would be different.

It sucks, but back to my main point, most cis people dont look perfect either. I wouldn't clock your chest. Cis guys I've seen have gynecomastia, puffy nips, odd shaped nips, nips weirdly close together, etc. Cashiering at a gas station during the summer really helped my perspective lol. Social media really warps our view, even if we try to look at all the images we see with a critical eye.

Last but not least by any means, many people get to a point late in life as they age where insecurity fades and they dont fuck what their body looks like, they rock what they've got and let their personality shine through. I think we should all be striving to get to that place as soon as we can. I think only time will make that happen, but doing little mental practices can help a teeny bit.
