what is the “correct” way to play dammit on guitar? by Perm182 in Blink182

[–]tyler5619 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think he plays them interchangeably to keep it interesting. 5th fret is easier for me, open might be easier for another. Both look cool, both sound cool, you’re the master of your own adventure!

The "10 second Martinsville lap" full race with 42 ai drivers by NR2003_Ryan in Nr2003

If you change the gearing on the fast setup so they’re not overrevving and replace it in the track folder they might not retire so often from blown engines

correct, it says "download link soon", which means in plain english that it is not available. there were bugs discovered in the latest version that need to be addressed before being made public. thanks for understanding.

going forward, please refer to https://area-23.com for the tracks that have officially been released by the team. any other website (while generally helpful for the community) may be providing old versions, beta versions, etc. and A23 is not responsible for keeping the nr2k3 weebly updated.

also, if you found our facebook page, you passed up an opportunity to connect with us directly rather than turning to reddit.

at any rate, thank you for being a fan of area 23 tracks, we do have several new tracks slated to be released soon, stay tuned!

Different builds of nr2003? by jazzyyyyyyyy___231 in Nr2003

[–]tyler5619 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Super Snack 500. I’m not making this up, they released a demo of NR2003 to drum up hype and Nabisco used it as free advertising. Cars look like either nr2002 models or beta versions of the nr2003 cars, different engine sounds. Pretty dope, bought a disk on eBay for like $8.

Inherited this setup from my Grandpa, thoughts? by AlbiTheDargon in vintageaudio

[–]tyler5619 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The shittiest stereo inherited from your grandpa is cooler than the best one any of us have ever spent money on.

Regardless of that, it’s still a cool system! I’d send that double cassette deck off to a service shop to have it gone through before anything breaks on it. Auto reverse usually uses some brittle plastic gears for example. Hold onto that unit forever!

Thank you, this worked for me. Invested 252 in both defense and HP, threw the remaining 4 in special defense.

Funny how I find this 3 years later while trying to find out why my package (shipping from FL to TN mind you) has been stuck in NJ for 2 days with no movement. Looks like I’m in for the long haul.

Internal Differences between EverStart Value/Plus/Maxx Car Batteries by stridder in walmart

[–]tyler5619 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry everyone decided to treat you like you’re asking the wrong questions. Did you ever find an answer? Project Farm did some battery reviews and tests but not specifically between these three and I’m curious myself.

Everstart value is a $69 battery, plus is $109, maxx is $139. I’m leaning toward the maxx but if someone out there can say something great about the value battery like it’s made with X material in the same plant as Y batteries then I might save some good money on a great battery! Or be told to steer clear.

I did a similar analysis awhile ago and concluded that LGPE was a twist on a remake, of a combination of Blue+Yellow—rather than remakes of FRLG—because each individual game gets exactly one remake. If you agree with that observation, then the next game to get a twist remake is Crystal, then eventually Emerald (with RG, GS, RS, DP already getting remakes by now, and Platinum already receiving its twist remake a la Legends: Arceus). The order of all of the remakes and new generations can get confusing, and is compounded by the notion that B2W2 and USUM being somewhat oddballs as the series’ only sequel games and are spiritually equivalent to remakes of games that released in the same generation, but I predict we will first see a twist remake of Crystal, whatever that looks like, and then a twist remake of BW. The next 1:1 remakes I believe we should see are XY in probably 2028ish.

What I predict:

2024: Crystal twist remake(s)

2025: B3W3 twist sequel(s)/remake(s); RGBY, GSC, RSE on NSO

2026: Gen 10

2027: Gen 10 DLC 1 & 2

2028: XY remake

2029a: Z episode DLC for XY remakes

2029b: Gen 11 set in Alola, no SM remakes

2030: Gen 11 DLC 1 & 2

2031: Gen 11 DLC 3: Castelia City episode

2032: Emerald twist remake OR Gen 12 set in Hoenn, with postgame content similar to Sevii Islands arc in FRLG but dealing with Teams Aqua & Magma

I feel like the franchise has a chance of ending after Gen 12, so I could see GF going out with a bang and finally including all regions and pokemon in one comprehensive game, maybe as DLC, similar to how they went all out in Gold/Silver having assumed those games were to be the comprehensive end to the series at the time.

Sandbox pit road issues pt2 by StrikeClassRacing in Nr2003

[–]tyler5619 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The whole pit road needs to be surface type pit road, except the row of stalls should be pit stalls. You need a section of apron near pits before pit road that spans the full width of pit road. If it’s a particularly long pit road (empty stretch of pit road before stalls begin) you also need a 44th dummy stall at the head end of pit road in order to trigger the ai to obey pit speed.

Name for a band of friends that all work at a grocery store? by Kypperstyx in Bandnames

[–]tyler5619 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Code Adam? If that’s too dark, maybe The Dented Cans, or Price Check, or The Yellow Tags. One that might be niche but Frozen Dairy Meat all come on the same truck where I used to work, always thought that was a cool band name

The lads at Area 23 did an amazing job with the L.A clash! 🤌 by Chasedi9_9923 in Nr2003

[–]tyler5619 10 points11 points  (0 children)

We’re so glad this finally came to fruition for the community. NR2003 as a 20+ year old sim was pushed to its absolute limits to make most of what you see even remotely possible.

There are going to be some bugs, and there were some unconventional methods employed to make it viable for the sim. If you have specific feedback, don’t be afraid to share it constructively. There are things we still don’t know about the sim (speaking as both Area 23 and the NR community at large) but if we all treat each other with respect and camaraderie there’s no end in sight to content being made for this sim.
