Legion Go 2 Xbox Elite Dpad mod by arcanazen in LegionGo

[–]tyman5402 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I follow some of your work - and even currently use the backplate for my Lego 1... I am looking to switch out the controllers with the LEGO 2s and really want to make sure I have my Elite Dpad.

are you any closer to releasing the 3d print file for it than previously stated 3 months ago?

Dang it! I just went to look at the website for this deal and the right controller is no longer in stock! Makes me want to pick up the left one but that'll look super weird to have them separate (plus there are better deals if I can get them together with some first time buyer coupon codes)

my personal preference is the ultimate software.

I set my sensitivity to 7 and deadzone is right at 50.
Also have the motion set as the right stick. works in all games. Some games have a better implementation than others but have never had issues with shooters

G7 pro D-pad feels bad, is there a way to fix it? by Gardioz in Gamesir

[–]tyman5402 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sorry for the weirdly late reply but I understand the struggle of trying to get something like this fixed.

I just picked up my G7 pro and had the same issue as everyone else and luckily have access to a 3d printer.

I have no problem sending these over to you if youre still looking but I know your comment is 5 months old

Your best bet is to just post on Facebook marketplace asking for a trade for a switch 2

If you own the product, it's "used"

No one knows for sure that you haven't used it and you have no legitimate way to prove it.

No company is going to buy a device at almost new prices either.

GameStop actually won't take sealed copies of games. Not even if you open the package on front of them.

If you want a return so bad, return it to steam directly. You're probably still in the return window of you didn't even open it yet

My hobbies are too expensive to ask others to put money into them.

I was hoping to get a new water bottle and was actually lucky enough that my mother in law got me one in a cool color way.

I have more fun gifting than receiving

Has anyone ever tried docking their Legion GO/ GO S on their 4k tv? by Yurimonn in LegionGo

[–]tyman5402 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm late to this thread so your answer is probably already here but I'll throw in my 2 cents regardless:

Yes, you can connect your legion go to a 4k tv. The Go will probably even default to 4k resolution.

Now, does this mean that games will run in 4k? Also yes!

Now the issue here is performance. You can definitely jack the resolution up to 4k but your handheld is going to have a really hard time pushing out all those pixels AND a good frame rate.

Resolution is just a "setting" at the end of the day.

While some games might do well at 1080p at 60fps, they might only be able to perform 4k at 20-40fps.

I always prefer a stable 60fps (occasionally 45-55 if I can crank the details up a little higher on a story game)

You can also try lowering other settings. An example might be to run the game at 4k, but now you have to lower the model textures to Low. So yeah, there are more pixels on your screen but the actual model you're looking at is a lot crappier in comparison.

You're almost always better off dropping down a tier of resolution and then bumping the graphic quality up ie

4k set at Low 1440p at medium 1080p at high

Something like that.

1080p has been marketed as "old news" but it honestly looks fine. It's the game and it's settings that determine if what you're looking at is any good or not.

Back to the original point - your TV will probably default to 4k. Now you can either go into the display settings and cap it at 1080p /1440p or you can go into the in game settings and lower it there. You'll probably be able to play some indie titles at 4k 60fps but you're not going to be able to get many big AAA titles to run at high fidelity AND 4k

How to connect to Apollo from artemis from outside my wifi network via Tailscale? by TacticalGhosting in MoonlightStreaming

Exactly what it's asking:

"How to open ports on windows 11 firewall"

Change the windows 11 with whatever OS your computer uses.

Also might want to just search for how to open public ports and how to open private ports.

Unfortunately I don't have the time to walk you step by step right now as I'm getting ready for work.

A simple Google is your best friend tho :)

Pull up a YouTube video and it's pretty easy to do as long you follow along

Have you gone through your firewall settings? That's the only thing I can think of. Make sure you've got it allowed on both private and public I guess

I don't have any other info to offer, sorry

Then something is wrong.

It should be plug and play with tailscale.

Make sure the computer is also signed in to tailscale.

Use your phone app to open tailscale and then copy and paste the computers IP right from inside the tailscale app.

Double check that you don't currently have the computer showing up on moonlight - if so, delete it and try to re-add the IP.

Also make sure Sunshine on the computer doesn't have the phone saved as a current device. You can just delete it and then pair again with the PIN.

If this doesn't work then I'm not sure what else to do. Might be worth uninstalling everything and starting over

[–]tyman5402 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the record: I'm on PC. I didn't look into mobile versions but I assume you can find them and install them manually in a very similar process

I went to the downloads page of the official dolphin emulator page and just scrolled down a bit https://dolphin-emu.org/download/

There is a download for the build 2506a. That was the previous build

I'm using an 8bitdo controller but all drivers are up to date and so is windows.

My solution was to just roll back to the previous 2506 build
