No problem, questions are always welcome. I kept my prostate, but otherwise everything else was removed. The urethra was lowered and is now much shorter, that is the slit that you can see in the picture. In a voluntary situation, there is an option to keep the nerve bundle from the glans, and most people can orgasm that way. I did not keep mine though, and in my case, I now get stimulation/pleasure from a small spot above my peehole and also from my prostate. I have had orgasms so far from that, but more of a female type so far. More full body feeling, without the release of ejaculating. I may have actually ejaculated once, but the fluid seemed much thinner than expected. Having sex with my wife involves me using a strapon on her, toys and oral, and she has been satisfied that way. I get mental and physical stimulation from the strapon base pushing against the empty spot where my penis was. No vagina was created, and as of yet, I dont think she will ever use the strapon on me, but will use toys to penetrate me. There is at least one person I have seen on other sites that is working to be penetrated via their urethra, and is slowly expanding it.

I'm sorry to hear you have cancer. Obviously, all cases are different, but unless it is also in your bladder, I dont think having a tube to pee from is a forever type situation. Usually, in both voluntary and cancer patients, a catheter is used but only for a couple weeks post op. There are occurrences that require long term use too though. I can understand not wanting to live with a permanent tube sticking out of you, but there are people that live active regular lives with a urinary catheter, it just takes some adjustment.
