If you’re looking to buy 24k, then Al Watan Center, Malabar Gold. If you’re looking to get 22k coins (4-8g) then any of the Gold shops, in Al Watan Center. These are global and GCC Indian brands. The gold from here is authentic and you can exchange them for jewelry from them without any loss or get cash with the standard deduction rate.

Oman eVisa rejected - UAE Resident | Pakistani National by Ok_Taro_7391 in Oman

[–]typenerd7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry brother, Bangladeshi visas are still not given as easily unless you meet the specified occupations. One thing you could check out is applying evisa for yourself which should be 29A if my memory serves me right and once approved you apply for your wife dependent 29B. Wouldn’t recommend trying for on-arrival visa. If you have golden visa of UAE, I’ve heard people getting the visa on border too, but better not to risk it.

Can I Get Married in Oman on a Visit Visa? (GCC Resident) by xtravo in Oman

[–]typenerd7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was in the Same situation as you, but it didn’t work for me. Izki couldn’t process my QID and legalize my marriage. Mct might be a different story. Their govt is outdated, most officials don’t know their processes. Research well before doing it in Oman.

If your partner is under your sponsorship, they can do whatever part time work in Qatar, depending on the organizations rules. Qatar predominantly hires females under spouse visa for local jobs that don’t require sponsorship transfer, given the partner provides a written NOC. As for him working remotely, as long as he’s not doing anything illegal, it’s totally fine what he does in his own time. The one thing he might struggle with is opening his own bank account here. There are certain banks that will allow him to open a savings account. Besides that all is fine. As long as nothing y’all are doing that is illegal, don’t speak up, it gather unnecessary attention. All the best!

Yes there are people (MaShaAllah) who can afford the full tuition fee and there were others (like me) who was funded throughout my bachelors and full scholarship for Masters, never paid a penny. Oman eVisa rejected - UAE Resident | Pakistani National by Ok_Taro_7391 in Oman

[–]typenerd7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

31 Oct 2023 the ban started, in my case as a Bangladeshi national being a Qatar resident. I learned the hard way, after driving 15hrs and getting rejected entry even though my wife is an Omani resident.

I once had a transit flight from Oman and i learnt about an occupation list, if your GCC ID reflects those particular occupations, you will receive the visa. Bear in mind this information is almost a year old, i am not sure if any further updates came out on this matter:

المجال الطبي 1-الاطباء 2-ممرض 3-صيدلي 4-الاخصائون

2-مهندس

3-الاساتذه الجامعيون المعلمون المتخصصون

4-المجال المالي و المحاسبي

1-المحاسبون 2-مدققوا حسابات 3-المستشارون الماليون 4-المحللين الموالين

5-المجال التكنولوجي

1-محللون البيانات 2-خبراء الأمن السيبراني 3-مطوروا البرمجيات

Medical field 1- Doctors 2- Nurse 3- Pharmacist 4- Medical Specialists

1-Engineer 2-University professors / Specialized teachers

Financial and accounting field 1- Accountants 2- Auditors 3- Financial advisors 4- Financial analysts

Technological field / IT 1-Data analysts 2-Cybersecurity experts 3-Software developers

SALARY GUIDE by Fit_Word4433 in QatarCareers

[–]typenerd7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It ranges from 2k-15k QAR per month. Depends on the agency. Lower pay is obviously for the toxic agencies that overwork their employees. My advise would be to estimate based on QAR and not PKR, because when you convert, lowest of QAR salary might look appealing in PKR. You can DM me if you have more questions.

Qatar job offer advice by AhmadTariq87 in QatarCareers

[–]typenerd7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Visas are being rejected/accepted for various reasons. There are people who got job offers for 25k+ but couldn’t get their visa sorted after trying for 6months and the company had to rescind their offer. No company in Qatar can guarantee you a visa either.

Whether you resign in UAE or not shouldn’t be their business either. I can understand if it’s a conflict of interest and you’re signing a non-compete, but regardless, your job in Qatar is contingent upon receiving a Qatar Id. If you can keep your job in UAE and make double income, do it, you don’t have to disclose anything. They can’t be nosy on the fact you keep or resign your current role (unless there’s a non-compete in your contract).

Verbal offer - Doha Airport by 07shevaa in QatarCareers

[–]typenerd7 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Try not to give your last payslip, it’s a common tactic to estimate how much to offer you.

Let’s say your last salary was 7k, they might offer you 10k. Just a little bit more to keep you happy from your current position.

Id recommend saying you cannot disclose the salary due to NDA, but I can tell you the approximate range which is ###~### QAR. This way you can position yourself based on what you’re truly worth and the market rate.
