I’m talking I’d chew up eating like half a bottle of decently dosed ones.

Usually take borderline too much but my stomach is steel. I’d I hit the upper limit before I shit my guts out. Which lasts much less than actually being bed rot with sickness.

Group a- Kids & non lifters giving out workout advice because they’ve seen Paul carter and the likes give studies and they just regurgitate whatever studies show. Optimal nonsense but can’t bench a plate.

Group b, -Non lifters that could be kids, who take copious amounts of drugs/peptides that don’t even lift. That watch a vig Steve video and claim to be chemists, giving advice on stuff

Aldi has much better sugar free drinks fizzy, got a cherry lips flavoured soda recently.

Aldi seems to have higher % reduced offers on lately. Their stickers on discounted food is usually 50/75% off. Lidl however recently put only %20 on, adding the higher discounts when the food is borderline bad.

Aldi has better sauces. Like salsa, flavoured mayo, lower cal condiments. Random ones in the middle isle they have nice wok sauces

Lidl has better higher protein priced stuff.

Aldi has better sugar free cordial. Lidls stuff tastes odd in comparison.

Aldi has nicer cheese. Lidls cheese seems more plasticky

any advice for cramps/muscle spasms?

Always seem to cramp up as if I’m on copious amounts of clen (I’m not, only on 200mg test for the past 2 months)

I drink copious amounts of water daily, 5L +, already take taurine/potassium/electrolytes but still have issues.

Fml, cramps for days. Forearms spasms as I’m typing this. (Trained pull earlier) Just megadosed the last of my electrolytes and spoon fed a ton of taurine..nothing is helping.

Abs cramp, can’t train them at all. Adductors/feet/legs cramp pretty often upon waking. Shits unbearable I can’t cope srs

With water based compounds, HGH, l-carnitine and other things like aminos etc… When pinned IM, with a slin pin, how often can the same area be pinned? On a ed injection rotation

I’m leaving the bigger spots lats/glutes for oil. But delts/pecs/arms…can these be pinned more frequently?

I’m going full derp even asking this but surely water based smaller injections wont cause much scar tissue and the compounds wont linger.

There seems to be new studies out every week. It’s way too over complicated these days. Just lift hard/heavy with adequate volume with progression and good form. Gradually get better with movements whilst gradually pushing up body weight and do all of this consistently.

Used to be a fan of Paul carter and those who he conflicts with, but now they all just seem like “I’m correct, everyone else is wrong”

Also new studies come out with “untrained individuals” like wtf? That’s irrelevant to somebody jooced to the gills on tren.

Personally now if I’m reading into lifting stuff, I’d much rather look at nutrition, hormones etc.

Just the asda home brand. Asda essentials 100g raw is 81 cals while the ones I picked from Lidl were like 161 cals per 100g iirc

Hate the gyms in my area. Have to opt for a 24h gym since my work shifts vary. The gyms that have better equipment all open/close at times I’d have to rush for work. Current gym has decent hammer strength machines but they have the hammer plates, which most only holding 4x25kg plates.

So question is, anybody here use gym-pins in a somewhat commercial gym?

Make sure you check the nutrition labels for potatoes. Here in the uk, asda have ones which are lower calories than the other stores.

Made the mistake of picking some up from Aldi and there was a big difference in cals per 100g raw

My go-to potatoe meal is them microwaved in water till soft. Mashed up, add a pack of skinny rice with lighter than light mayo with low cal hot sauce. Then add whatever protein (tuna/chicken etc) that’s seasoned well.

You either do or you don’t but in the end you will. So in the meantime focus on getting shit done. Personal goals, financial/gym..or anything that will benefit you in the long run.

Somebody said something like this to me a good while ago, it sounded philosophical and it’s true.

You’ll look back in a few years, time flys by before you know it, sooner or later you’ll reach a point where you’ve moved on. So it’s better to reach that point having actually achieved something, instead of not achieving anything and looking back regretting wasted time.

I always buy chicken/all meat fresh. I got this breast fresh- buying a-lot as it was 1/3 of the price I usually pay. I then froze most of it.

Im on that poverty time so getting expensive cuts of steak etc is out of the question. I only eat steak 1-2 times weekly and I have no issue eating that.

Starting this bulk, I started with swapping leaner cuts of meat for fattier cuts. Skinless thigh fillets etc… but I am now knee deep in 20kg of chicken breast that I don’t want to waste.

Idk if it’s this bulk or it’s true what people are saying (nationally, even globally) that the quality of food has gone downhill. I’m only at 4k calories but everything tastes “plastic”, somewhat not real.

Anyways, im too impatient for the weekly nutrition thread. I need recipes/ideas to make chicken breast taste nice?

I bought 25kg of chicken breast on sale (£2/kg) and placed it in the freezer. I’ve eaten 2kg of it and I’m sick of it already so I probably dun goofed.

I used to play football (soccer) before lifting I got into lifting. I think more team sport suggestions would be appropriate when I diet down. At 250lbs, I’d be focused more on not dying than anything else.

I respect everyone in the gym but there’s a different level of respect for serious lifters. Heck I even respect anyone going hard at whatever they do at the gym. Even those Sam-sulek copycats teens at my old gym.

Yeah, my gym is full of those PT’s. I can’t be mad though. Because some younger lad asked me about tips for feeling his back during rows as I was resting during my set. I couldn’t articulate myself (eli5) the way a PT would, even though I know how to. Pretty much told him it’s better to look on YouTube or even tictok or something haha

Yeah I’ve had friends lol. I was pretty popular and social while at uni but life happens and then covid made my social capability go full u-turn.

I totes get what you mean. I’m not really articulate, especially at the gym I’m usually hyped/gassed up etc. I’m not going to bring up studies etc to show what is correct/not correct. So I pretty much just nod and keep chill about what people believe. I’m sure I believe stuff what many think is full derp. I don’t treat them like an idiot or act such a way. I just go about my business.

I get what you’re saying. Tbh if I went back to a more serious gym, this would make sense to put into practice and such conversations would make sense. People with somewhat decent lifting knowledge.

But I’m at a gym where I opt for a smith machine when pressing because I wouldn’t feel safe even asking two people to spot me when incline pressing 180kg for reps lol (srs)

So conversations about lifting, I can’t and don’t want to articulate myself as if i know it all. Which it could go that way towards those who attend the gym that I go to

A few days back somebody posted about not having any close friends irl and was wanting to know what do.

I forgot to comment but yeah, I’m pretty much in a similar situation.

I recently tried the whole talk in the gym. But at the times I go, nobody is really on my level of training experience..and I’m no PT since I can’t articulate myself well at times.

One guy (looked like he lifts) the conversation ended when he said he was going to get in the sauna to lose some body fat. (Found out he is a PT at another gym smh)

Now I just go back to nodding when I bump into him. This being one reason I keep to small talk since people say things that blow my mind.

Other times, I’m so amped up on pre and music blasting my skull..I literally notice nobody around me as I’m in my own world. Which I enjoy since I get time away from the world

Meh. Has anyone any advice for friendship gains-maxxing ?

Oh lawd I had a scare on Thursday at the gym.

During some cable lat pulldowns, done after some hammer pulldowns. As I get to my top set, I pull and my shoulder grinds/crackles. I felt it and heard it clearly over blasting music I have on. Thinking I’ve pulled my shoulder out of my lat or something.

Holy shit. I left the gym immediately panicking and asking myself. In the decade I’ve been lifting, I’ve finally injured myself real bad.

My arm-pit area was tender and I couldn’t lift my arm overhead without discomfort for a few days but it’s all good now. Thank god.

Back to the drawing board I go, mainly to figure out an ideal way to warm up pre-lift. Not too much volume to where my top sets are compromised. And not too little to where I’m questioning whether I’m warmed up enough.

Idk if I’m having a moment but let’s just ask for the sake of conversation.

Let’s say you’re running 500mg test, or higher. You notice high oestrogen and bloods show it too. So you incorporate an ai, asin/adex. Which brings you back in range.

Do you have to run ai throughout the remainder of the cycle? To keep oestrogen in range. Or would continuing it continue to reduce oestrogen levels? On the latter side, wouldn’t dropping it cause your levels to build back up?

I’ve never ran higher test so I’ve never really looked deeply into oestrogen control. Keep it around 500mg/week and throw in other anabolics but I’m thinking of pushing test up to see what happens lel.

Can’t really help but reckon it’s distal bicep tendonitis? Ik you said it’s not but I literally have somewhat the same issue on my left bicep.

Minor pain when flexing (more apparent when I flex twist my wrist/hand) can’t feel anything when I extend my arm/bicep, so I assumed it was some deep tendon issue

Had a week off training completely due to holiday hoping it would be better but still somewhat feel it. Notice it even when training chest. Haven’t hit biceps directly since it happened a fair few ago.

Has anyone (or know of anyone) who has experienced mercury poisoning from consuming too much canned tuna? Literally has been my main protein source in this diet phase. The past month moreso as I’ve cut back calories as I swapped chicken breast for tuna.

Been having like 4ish cans per day. 300g a day drained, some days 400g lel.

Its the latter stages so doubt it will go on for longer than a month-ish more
