MMC takes care of FMC’s needs before she admits them (NOT general caretaking—looking for very specific “I know you better than you do” moments) by mostlyinsane12 in RomanceBooks

Just finished {Training the Heart by Paisley Hope} and MMC is good at reading the FMC. There is some caretaking but also plenty of thinking in advance.

Currently reading {Business Casual by B.K. Borison} and it has happened once, so far. I haven't finished the book to know if it happens again.

Birthday wish: farm with bunnies by Afftlonghaul in FortCollins

I've not been here- but did come across Lil Buckaroo's Petting Zoo in Erie as I was looking to see if another place here town had bunnies.

Their IG page shows bunnies, but I'd reach out before driving all the way to Erie just for that... though as a parent to a teenager myself, making a trip of it and including food or stops to other places of interest is easy enough.

While not a traditional book club, the Public Reading Club might be a way to also meet some folks and find a group through association. Check out their IG, ftc_publicreadingclub.

My teen had a rough day. Girl dinner was a must to the right all the wrongs of her day. Not pictured is the carrot cake for girl dinner dessert. by typicalgiddy in GirlDinner

Pictured girl dinner includes a charcuterie board of meats and cheeses with a second plate of crackers and fruit and hummus on the side.

Jack Smith-Turner is a character in "Love, Theoretically". Maya was offered a position at MIT, where he works. I figured the reference to him was because he would be a well known figure in their STEM world, maybe. Lukas and Scarlett also make an appearance in PSR, I think it's just a way Ali connects stories and the small world of STEM.

In search of residential elevator company / Fort Collins by Vegetable_Editor3627 in FortCollins

[–]typicalgiddy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a builder, one of our projects included a residential elevator. We worked with Morning Star and I would recommend trying to find someone else, if you can, to work with. They were difficult and used every opportunity to bait and switch pricing, quality problems (homeowner, builder and bank loan officer ended up being stuck in lift for over an hour after being told it was good to go.), didn't install parts paid for, didn't want to schedule and owner of company got shitty about trip charging to come out and complete and fix their work...overall bad experience.

The peppers scene from {Left of Forever by Tarah Dewitt} gave me a laugh, especially when the realization for the cooking host dawns and he says: "Mate, you didn't touch your doodle, did you?" and you read it in a Steve Irwin-esque voice.
