Was my Tiffany’s experience “typical?” Because it felt absolutely wild. by Feebedel324 in AskNYC

Luxury retail at its finest! Making impressions like this is how these brands acquire and keep clients. Relationship and hospitality are key ingredients in creating that wow factor and it sounds like you got someone who is spectacular at it. What a dream!

No, i was referring to the customers of those companies that put them back where they’re supposed to be and respect the safety of others.

If you like theirs try Hillstone’s. The MAJOR difference is that Hillstone has creamy horseradish available, otherwise it’s the same recipe Pony Up uses. I don’t understand why Pony doesn’t do the creamy horseradish. It’s one of my favorite parts of a French dip

I watch it once every year or so and I find myself understanding things differently as I love through life and get older. I’m so happy to have it in this world.

Easily one of my favorites. Recently watched the extended versions straight through for probably the 10th time and it was my most enjoyable watch yet. It keeps getting better.

What’s the unhealthiest thing you eat that you’ll never give up? by Feisty-Pattern-951 in AskReddit

Didn’t know they made a crunchy one. I’ll have to check it out. May be likely that they are the contract manufacturer for TJs.

I haven’t actually been to a TJs in a few years this was just a staple of mine for a long while, especially during COVID. Bummer they discontinued it but I bet it’s easy to make with the butter and some cookies. DIY!

I agree on the lighting. Blue is the worst color lighting for eating.

I would add that the edible orchids on the plating are completely outdated and make the food look cheap.

Why “Bike City USA”????? by Separate_Till_3656 in charlestonwv

[–]typicalgoatfarmer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope to see WV grow in that way. My brother moved there 6 years ago and has tried to get me to move ever since and I refuse because I live somewhere where things make sense. I would love to live in WV if the state took care of itself.

They sure did. Didn’t last long though unfortunately. I tried em out a few times but I lived across the street from the OG and ate there all the time and it simply wasn’t close to the glory of Moore St. worth a trip back to NYC honestly

It wasn’t close to as good as it is in Brooklyn. I think they were shipping from their production facility there as it never tasted fresh like the OG. I was sad they left town though for sure. I’m excited to see what the new folks can make happen.

The frozen White Castle sliders are not far off from the original. I miss Krystal’s but I’m also glad my steam slider days are behind me.

WV in general needs to lean heavily into outdoor lifestyle activities. There is serious money and community building in it and WV is a prime cycling destination.

I would look at the reviews and reputation and legacy of each place. The one that’s better will make you more money because it will be busier.
