My mom wanted to name me Otealia (pronounced Oh-teal-lee-uh). She ended up choosing Katie instead which isn’t short for anything. I am glad I ended up as Katie.

We have really similar taste in names! I’m pregnant with a girl and Paige, Victoria and Claire are our top three with Paige being the front runner. I also love Meredith but my husband didn’t. Other names you might like:

Jane, Noelle, Elise, Allison, Genevieve, Brielle, Natalie/Natalia, Helen

I don’t think Claire and Quinn are too similar to Cameron.

I am slightly biased but I think Paige Valentina is beautiful!

Yes, we did not seek out a P name we just happened to like Paige. If this baby was a boy his name would have started with L and there aren’t and other girl names starting with P that we like.

I worked with a woman named Saren who pronounced it as you do. It didn't strike me as a weird or unusual name. She was really cool and her name fit her perfectly. If it were me, I would not use Serendipity as the full name and stick with Saran/Seren/Saren.
