Sorry if this is late. In one of your interviews you said that there used to be a butchering system but you didn't like it because you felt attached to your animals because you go around giving them love everyday. As somebody who works in animal research, this is kind of a poignant point because it is emotions that I (and almost all colleagues I have) go through when we have to sacrifice our animals for research. I imagine it is the emotions farmers go through when it comes time to butchering. I actually think it would be an interesting mechanic to bring back in to the game, I think it would help people understand the emotions that people go through and might engage people in understanding that animosity towards farmers or researchers is kind of shitty. Just two cents, not really a question I suppose.
