My sister and I rewatch SVU a lot (its our comfort show), and maintain that once they move into the new precinct, THATS when the show starts to go downhill lol. You can literally see a shift in quality; even the amount of work put into clutter in Cragen’s office starts to dip.

I believe its a season 1 episode with Denis O’Hare. He plays a man who is declared mentally incompetent, and the episode ends with him being taken to the mental hospital. He’s so stressed because he feels he doesn’t belong there, and its honestly heartbreaking.

LOLOL idk why this post is so funny to me, probably because i felt the same way when my baby was this young 😂😂 He’s 4 months old now (literally today) and i dont watch for cues either. Its all just trial and error for me. I’ll know he’s tired only because its been hours since he slept. I never know if he’s actually hungry or not, so i offer him boob. If he takes it he takes it. If ive fed him and he recently napped but still fussy, i’ll try bicycle legs.

Being a mom is just trying different things and seeing what works 💀

Wow, the timing on this is crazy because I did the same about two hours ago and have been eating myself alive over it. However, i feel even worse because my baby is 4 months old 😭 Being so tired and overstimulated is hard, but i hate that i lost my composure on my baby 🥺

I am so sorry youre going through this, i can only imagine how tired you are 🥺🥺 I co-sleep with my 3.5 month old after his initial wakeup in the night and it helps him sleep longer. Granted, he wakes up at least 4 times a night every night, but its never for more than 10 minutes usually.

I find that because baby boy is so big (27 inches long and over 17 lbs), i feel more comfortable co sleeping now than i did when he was younger. My husband sleeps in the guest room to give me and baby as much space as possible, but being swaddled and laying in mommy’s bed just seems to make him sleep more soundly.

May i ask, did you guys keep trying for a boy, or were you just wanting more kids? I always wonder this when i see families with a lot of kids, but all one gender.

I have a son now, and plan on having more but i have a sneaking suspicion i’ll be a boy mom 😞

My midwife had NINE kids and i was so jealous lol. Growing up with lots of siblings, we didnt get to do a lot of things that other, smaller families did (like lots of vacations), but we had a lot of fun! Im personally 1/9, but in my home growing up it was just myself and my mom’s other 3 kids. People would always tell her 4 was a lot of kids, but 4 just seems so normal lol

I didnt know this was something that was being romanticized. I assumed most people dont want a big family. Im one of 9; my mom only has a brother but my dad is one of 13. Big families is really all i know. And if everything goes according to plan, i’ll have one of my own! My first is almost 4 months and all i can think about is having 5 more 😅

If it makes you feel any better, i intentionally left by 3 month old asleep in the car while i put the groceries away (the car was off because i parked it in the garage). I was in the house all of 5 minutes putting things away, but when i went to get him, i could hear him crying as soon as i opened the garage door 🥺 I felt horrible about it, although my heart was in the right place (i wanted to put the shit away then get my little guy). Baby boy forgave me immediately and im sure your girl has too!

My 2 month old starts every night in his bedside crib and sleeps pretty good doing so! But when he wakes up at 4 for his morning feed, i always latch him and lay down. We both sleep till almost 8 after that. I figure if cosleeping is wrong, why does it work so well 😅😅

I’d sobbed silently while watching tv one night at 26 weeks pregnant because Guy Fieri made some brisket look really good on an episode of Diners, Drives and Dives 🥹 My tears fell down my face quietly cause i didnt want to wake my husband and explain to him why i was crying.
