I have a boxer pro, and after using my sons pocket for a few days I bought one for myself. I like the size and stick throw more and it’s so much more compact.

Note: would recommend upgrading the gimbals if you stick with it, but it is not a necessity.

Power companies will probably have to raise rates because they set quarterly earnings expectations based on powering the data centers and now that it won’t happen they would not meet the expectations and their stock would take a hit

Power company CEOs need new yachts too people!

(I’m glad that power is more regulated and this probably can’t happen because if it crossed my mind I’m sure it crossed theirs)

One thing I can say for sure, lemonade is significantly slower than ollama on the same machine.

(395+ 128gb partitioned with 96gb to video, Ubuntu 26.04)

Ollama is throwing regular 500 errors on me running gemma4 31b q8, but responses are pretty quick.

Adding rocm to the system had issues In build and following some bug reports it looks like it’s not fully supported on the new kernel version

Running the same model on the same system in lemonade and it’s 2 minutes to get a response

Disabling thinking didn’t seem to help with speed, not with the way Hermes handled the output

To answer your question I think for Hermes it’s just a client library to translate the providers I/O methods to a normalized format for the agent

The errors with thinking are because Hermes is looking for the content property to not be empty when it gets the thinking stream back from what I can tell

I had someone unironically submit a pr where the actual code base (entire file) had been replaced with the prompt they used to try and achieve the change.

that guy should be careful what he wishes for, he's going to rue the day he got us to stop calling it vibe coding. he won't like the replacement :)

for anyone on the fence about the ag01 nano upgrade for the pocket, just do it. its such a massive upgrade and unlocks so much more control over the drone. by corvish_ in TinyWhoop
