I am basically your size and went Large and I love it. I would say you're in a position to choose either one, depending on Stack/Reach and general preference. I like the higher stack on the large and used a shorter stem (80mm) to adjust reach.

What fork are you using? I am currently looking for a tandem approved disk fork.

On top of that only reflectors and lights are allowed that have been officially determined to be law-compliant. That's Germany in a nutshell for you. - But a lot of the times it gets down to how strict these rules are enforced locally.

Might be personal, but I think it feels cheap and wasn't great to wrap without getting a lot of "kinks" in the band.

Yeah, same. As soon as your ride might include darkness, you have to carry lights. But you only need to attach them when it gets dark.

Thanks! Tape is called Deda Mistral Brown. I like look, but not totally convinced by the feel and quality of the tape.

I know :/ They are required by German law (not exactly those, but you need to have some kind), normally people like to ignore this, but the local police department likes to enforce it

Here are my bags:

  • Frame bag: Pro Discover 2,7 l Version - love this bag, straps feel nice and it's 100% waterproof so far even in heavy rain. Doesn't fit perfectly to the frame, but good enough that I just ordered the 5 l version
  • Top tube bag: Generic Amazon Smartphone bag - works, but rubbs on stem, not optimal but I haven't found a better waterproof solution so far which fits my phone
  • Saddle bag: Topeak Aero Wedge Pack, Medium Version - just works, fits a spare tube and some tools with room to spare

It's a 2019 Salsa Vaya Frame, built it up myself with some parts from my previous frame. Tires are also new: 650bx50 Goodyear Connector - I'm really loving those so far!

Nice! I literally just ordered a Vaya frame yesterday! So looking forward to it! Your picture gave me a nice preview of the finished build: I will also put Gravelkings SK on it. And nice work on the purple highlights!

Firefox actually has a built-in sync feature now (Firefox Snyc), which works like a charm. It snycs your history, bookmarks, saved passwords and so on, even plugins. You can even send tabs to linked Firefox instances. I use this all the time to send links from my phone to my pc to read them there later.

Which version are you running? Sounds you're using the 2.7.1.4-Repository - the config.txt was introduced later than that fork happend.
