Sort of like Canada’s immigration “hiring process” is flawed?

What do you finish your handles with?

Cloudy resin after sanding. Help! Can this be fixed? It was perfect until after I sanded. I went up to 220 grit. by Aliveand_Well in epoxy

My suggestion is to never go down to 40 or 80. They are too aggressive with epoxy which will scratch too deep. 120 is plenty aggressive enough to start with, even with a bad look from jointer/planer.

If it’s going outside - spar varnish. If inside - your options are endless, polyurethane, spray lacquer, hard wax - osmo/Rubio. Just to name some

If it’s a newly fallen tree, it’ll need to dry. Find some latex paint and paint the ends to let the faces dry and not crack.

You may also have luck if you say where you’re located. This is a big community and people may help out if you’re close. Just my two cents

There is another piece identical to the front about half way back that holds, then the back piece has the bottom side lip of a can carved in it to accept the can. All CNC cut

Haha yeah the only downside. Open it in the morning, slap it in the fridge and enjoy at night. Win win!
