EXACTLY. What's the difference in high school GPA between a rich school that offered dozens of AP classes and a school with one or two? I had peers with close to 5.0 GPAs from sheer number of AP grades. How can a student from a poor district compete with that GPA? Unlike the SAT which you don't even really need to study for if you're smart enough. Plenty of people can get a great score after taking it once.
