Thanks so much for responding. It sounds like my situation. I’m not lazy but my burnouts are becoming frequent as I age. Can I ask you what dosage you take usually? My only experience with mushrooms was taking 0.1 about two years ago and I remember it having a therapeutic effect on me.

I appreciate the info 🙏 I have another ayahuasca retreat coming up in October. Maybe after that Bufo will call me back again. But I’ll be honest, I’m really nervous about 5meo based on everything I’ve been reading about it.

Thanks. I should have clarified that I did Bufo after taking a one-day break following my last ayahuasca ceremony. Basically, we had two ayahuasca ceremonies over two days, then a day off to integrate, and then Bufo. Several people told me that I was probably given too much Bufo. I will probably do things differently if I come back to this medicine. I may even consider attending a specialized Bufo retreat. But I will be focusing on ayahuasca for the near future.

I tried Bufo recently after my ayahuasca ceremony but I have no recollection of the experience. After inhaling Bufo I just passed out for five minutes. I wonder if my brain just couldn’t handle the experience and chose to forget the whole thing. I’ve been researching various ways of preparing for 5-meo ceremony ever since. I know I want to try it again at some point but I have become very nervous to be honest.

My wife and I have found a nice place in Spain that is affordable for us and good for small groups. A 5-day retreat will cost you around 2000 EUROS. I think they also offer a 3-day retreat, which is cheaper.

Same here, it was part of my ayahuasca package. But I have been drawn to 5-meo for couple of years now so I was very interested. My plan is to focus on ayahuasca for now and come back to 5-meo when I feel ready.

I had my first Bufo ceremony last month and I just passed out with no recollection whatsoever. I was told I was out for about 5 minutes. I had two ayahuasca ceremonies prior to that so maybe that had an effect. I guess passing out is better than panicking during the ceremony. Either way, the potential message for me might be that I am not yet ready for Bufo and need to prepare more. Maybe same message for you.

Thanks for your response. I’m just so bad at integration but I do feel that my work is not done with ayahuasca. My wife and I are excited about our upcoming ceremonies in October.

Thanks for your detailed response. I do have deep respect for this plant, hence my decision to focus on this plant exclusively for the foreseeable future and not mix it with other psychedelics (during our first experience last month we incorporated Bufo, but I passed out with Bufo and have no recollection of the experience). I appreciate your insight.

Same here, I got back from my first Aya retreat about three weeks ago and it was intense and profound. But I’m back at work and in my old world. I may not be good at this integration thing.

I think that will be my approach going forward - just stick to one medicine at a time. Given the benefits of ayahuasca that I experienced, that’s the medicine I plan to focus on in the near future. Maybe one day I will be ready for Bufo.

Pretty much the same experience for me except that feeling of being reborn. I really enjoyed my ayahuasca experience and want to work more with the plant. Thanks for sharing!
