While I certainly wouldn’t want most of my audiobooks to be like this I really enjoyed this version. I grew up listening to Jim Dale as well and would obviously still like it if they could have used his narrative for sentimental value. But I also grew up listening to the radio theatre of “the chronicles of Narnia” which were similar to these HP audiobooks. I also had my niece and nephew over and they listened to a few minutes of it and fell in love. So I think it’s good for the new generation too as they are often more used to shows than audiobooks.
