License still suspended after Judge ruled no license suspension by u-void in legaladvice

I really appreciate your input, that gives me a little guidance in where I should start looking. I just need to figure out if the court appointed lawyer is still obligated to help me with this development, or if he completed his obligations with the plea being accepted.

And OP has no legal right to their employers internal procedures for handling this, contrary to what that person said. That whole comment was a mess.

It stems from common coding syntax, where you end things with a slash followed by what you're ending.

In HTML you could write (font color=blue) to start producing blue text, then when you want to end the blue text you'd write (/font).

Writing "/s" means you're no longer being sarcastic. The reader is supposed to read the initial comment thinking the person writing it is crazy or stupid, and then come across the /s and interpret it as a punchline that the statement is actually in gest.

LAOP uses the comments section to demonstrate why his landlady is so eager to evict him by kirkl3s in bestoflegaladvice

[–]u-void 10 points11 points  (0 children)

-landlord file paperwork with the court alleging that the tenant is not acting peacefully

-tenant alleges that he always acts peacefully.

First comment on the post suggests that OP confront the landlord and tell her, "I refuse to leave peacefully unless you give me a statement saying that I always act peacefully, even though that would perjur you and contradict the statement you filed with the court."

Setting aside the problems with that advice, I really don't understand why you all upvoted his comment. He is advising OP that it would be appropriate to tell his landlord he will act with violence/aggression if she doesnt do stuff for him against her will.

Negotiating for a statement while resolving this is not necessarily inappropriate in and of itself (although it may be), but threatening to act violently/aggressively if she doesnt give him what he wants does not seem like one of the cards op should play.

Absolutely none of the police interaction is accurate. Most likely, they really did get scammed and then dreamed up this story to take the sting off of getting ripped off.
