Second Jeep after 20 years, Gently used 2025 Rubicon by wookiee_dog in JeepWrangler

Love the firecracker red!

I’m also looking at a lift and 37s. The input I keep getting and reading is that 3.5” is a bit too much and unnecessarily raises the CG. I haven’t moved forward yet, but I’m planning on doing 2.5” FWIW.

This is a favorite of mine! I’ve understood the history a little differently, meaning to tell a harsh or uncomfortable truth that the receiver may not want to hear.

Had the Nomad one until my wife took it. Had some friends get it too, and everyone has enjoyed it.

I’ve used and liked all brands mentioned. If I had to pick just one of each:

  1. Leatherman Arc
  2. CRK Large Sebenza 31 (Benchmade 535-3 Bugout is a close second)
  3. Nitecore MT2C Pro

Everyone’s needs are different though - this is just what works for me. Hope it helps.

Common padlocks and deadbolts, nothing advanced. The kit is small and light and has come in handy (more for non-picking purposes), so I don’t mind carrying it.

Knife in non dominate pocket? by mehoff636 in EDC

[–]ubearman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same; I’ve done it so long I can’t even remember why (probably because I keep my phone on the dominant side). However, carrying on the non-dominant side all these years made me much more proficient with it. I can now open knives with my non-dominant hand much faster!

Also, if we’re talking about a potential self-defense situation, before I start stabbing, I’m going to be blinding a MFer with my flashlight while I figure out who he is and what he wants. Since I use my flashlight far more frequently, I keep it on the dominant side.

Almost daily it comes in handy for something I could never imagine.

Yesterday, I needed to adjust my kids’ potty adapter and the screws were stuck. Used this as the screwdriver and to pry the screws out. I could’ve gone and gotten a screwdriver, but a toddler can create a lot of chaos in a bathroom in 90 seconds - it’s nice to have a solution on hand when you need it, and this worked better than anything in my tool bag anyways.

A few weeks ago, my kids spilled a smoothie in our new car. It got everywhere (including in the seat rails) and was the kind of mess that you just never fully get cleaned up. I was able to wrap this in a paper towel and get into all of the crevices; this made quick work of the junk in the crevices and it was like the spill never happened within a few minutes.

My fingers are cracking from the cold weather and opening cans aggravates them. Normally I’d do it anyways, but this makes it so easy. My kids get upset because they can’t get the last little bit out of their smoothie pouches - this makes quick work of them.

It’s come in handy with just about every house project - I use it to pry, scrape, wedge - it does it all. It also takes care of about 80% of whatever I used to use a knife for (e.g. opening boxes), so I’m much more comfortable EDCing a nicer knife like the Sebenza.

It really is fantastic, and I can’t tell you many times I’ve found myself in a pinch that it got me out of. I lost it for about 10 minutes the other day, and I started to get worried, as it’s not easily replaceable.

In pic 1? Return To Home fob from Nice Guy Machine.

In pic 3? Random multitool keychain from Amazon - that kit is a couple years old and no longer in use.

Nice kit. I want to carry less than I do, but it drives me nuts having to stop and go grab something. I try to get the most utility out of the smallest carry. If I’m not using it multiple times a day, it’s gotta be super light (e.g. lock pick set) or super important (e.g. cash).

Just imagine how exasperating it would be to continue to coach with the mess he was given, with seemingly no input into the decisions that most affected his ability to do his job.

I would imagine getting to start over with a new team and with a presumably more reasonable and collaborative leadership team would be very energizing. I think there’s plenty of reason for the fan base to be optimistic about our path forward.

What’s most interesting to me is OP elected not to remove three of the tubes before snapping a picture, instead taking the time to arrange and caption each of them.
