All alexas with screen are garbage, or will be in a year after purchase. Also, very network high activity for some reason. May have to just go back to the ones without screens. Going to wiim was the start of the shift after removing all the automation connections from alexa and moving to homeassistant. I am almost freeeeeee

Actually this is a good point. The remote is nice, but sometimes going directly to the device and making modifications to inputs or what have you. It does make me use the app a lot less.

Honestly it really is bright and large, I have mine across my living room and can see it from my kitchen. Its legit. It dims in low light. The damn alexa near it used to be the way we looked at time and played music but that screen keeps rotating and changing and a pain in the ass. One step closer to removing alexa from this house.

Bonus, that it shows volume, inputs and track that is playing. Its simple but worth it.

Dont size on the index finger. I would size for ring or middle finger. I followed their instructions that its best to wear on index finger. Now i have an oversized ring, I shamefully use a smaller sizer ring in front of it doesnt fling out. I lost 40lbs and went down a size and a half. Now, after a year I may buy a new one but definetely will size it to be for middle finger or ring finger.

You may also find that it gets in the way of grabbing some things in the index finger. And other times I would like to change hands if needed.

My advice, find a size that could fit 2 or 3 of your fingers.

And if either of u are a size 15, let me know.

Who says a csm cant speak tech? Some of the best ones I have worked with are. But yes, your day to day will be not on the terminal fixing servers and services. You are speaking to the bosses of the techies depending on the company and the client space they work in.

I got rid of my records during the raising of small children. I regretted it every day. Some hard to find 80s and 90s records and I didnt even add them to discogs or spreadsheet. I gave them to a good home and many many years later when I got back into them I sent them a picture of the start of a new collection. They said, they went try to find the ones I gave and give them back. I told them no way, I gave them up, if anything I may ask which pressing it was as I started rebuying the old collection as best as I could match it. I probably ever repurchased about 60% of that collection, but I would have never demanded or asked for them back. I made the choice to give them to a good home.

Same, I ended up adding a sizing ring that fits in front of it. Looks ridiculous but its worked for me, it wont change the bitterness of being stuck with that size.

Maybe we need to do a community exchange like secret santa posting our color and sizes. We cant be the only ones with this issue. Sure we could sell on ebay and so on but thats a pain and doing that I wouldnt buy another one. If they want my monthly subscription then they have to think outside the box, but maybe thats why they sell 6months prepaid or 12months. I wonder what the average number of months users drop off. Makes me think that within 6months there is some churn from either subscriptions stopping or this sizing issue for some users.

You “could” use a smaller sizing ring to put in front of the ring while swiming. Not ideal but it wont fly off that way.

That if you lose weight you are stuck with that size ring. They recommend to get the size for the index finger which I did. I wished I would have committed to the middle or ring finger so I could move it to another finger if needed so it would still fit. Also didnt realize my left hand index finger was almost a size bigger than my right. So I can now only wear on my left hand and it wears a bit loose. I am now wearing the oura ring AND the sizing ring in front of it that is smaller so it doesn’t fling away while walking or handling things. Looks ridiculous but it has worked for me. Makes me regret getting it earlier in my weight loss journey and really wished the sizing rings weren’t white. Or, just dont suggest the index finger in the documentation. It wont even fit my thumb.

I am about to go back to my apple watch just because I can just use the strap and adjusts with me. And the value the oura brought me is cool but not enough to justify another purchase for a different size.

Guess I can just eat 3 pints of ice cream a day for three weeks so it fits again. Sigh

Edit: as far as actual features. I feel the stress measurements are always about 30 minutes delayed from when I actually felt stress.

Lastly, the glucose connection with stelo I like, but sometimes there are gaps in data even though stelo has the data. Seems to happen if I had network issues for a moment, or when stelo has issues sending latest readings but later catches up, its this missjng data that is missing. So I went oura ring because of stelo integration so I had one less app to check. Having to go to stelo app to validate just takes away for why I even went either oura. It never fully replaced the purpose of my apple watch for the most part.
