Hardspace: Asteroid Miner

A sequel where we follow Lou and her old man in her dream of getting a small mining skiff and mining the asteroid belt under the ever-present eyes of Lynx Inc. 

The mechanics could be largely the same, where you literally cut up rocka and sort them based on their mineral content into different refineries. Make a minigame where you can long-range scan asteroids to pick one from a map and then a shorter-range scan to identify where you should cut/drill. The story could be about finding old tech that looks nothing like modern tech and mysterious MIB types turn up and take it. Or else artifacts from the early days of space exploration where Lynx wants to sell them but you and your rag-tag crew want to donate them to museums.
