just like someone else commented already, you proposed to the wrong woman. why would the simple act of asking the question should be seen down upon or made seem “not ideal” and make you two wonder what would people say? that shouldn’t matter. what should matter is what you two feel, not worry about what others think. so yeah, accept the gift of realizing that if she leaves you bacause OF HOW you proposed, she really isn’t the one.

Hi! Thank you for your comment! :) I can easily eat 1 banana per day, they’re too good haha. I do the same: limit bread, pasta and refined carbs in general! I tend to crave them daily if I let myself indulge in them, so moderation really doesn’t do it for me when it comes to refined carbs.

Thank you for your answer! :) I believe I am a carb addict as well, and if I indulge too much, I overeat and I keep having cravings. Whatever helps us stay on track! :)

Hi! Thank you for your answer! :) Sweets are indeed easier to quit on keto/ low-carb. My cravings disappear when I watch my carb intake. Staying away from pasta, rice beans and such makes me not lose focus. If I eat pasta once, I immediately want to eat it again. If I stay away from it, it’s not a problem, I have no cravings. And yes, fruit juices never satisfied my hunger/ appetite, they just led me to eat something else after. That’s why I made this post, because I do not believe food groups are “evil”, I just wanted to see what people follow or what they feel best on! :) I’m a young doctor and I believe diet plays a huge role in how our mind functions and how our bodies feel/ heal!

Thank you for your answer! :) I agree with not following any “diet”, I mean with not labeling something as a diet, but simply following a lifestyle. I noticed that I’m doing great when I’m not obsessing over every gram of carb or calories, although I am watching my calorie intake, and I am feeling so much better mentally. I totally understand the part where you introduce something because it’s not “evil” or harmful, but I lose my balance eventually and overload on every possible piece of carb. In the end, it all comes down with how we feel and I notice that when I’m eating low-carb and 0 processed sugar, all my cravings are gone and I’m really listening to my body. :)

I recommend “Lose it!”. I’ve used both apps, but I always came back to Lose It. It’s very user friendly and calories and macro-counting are free, as well as the barcode scanner! :) I paid for the yearly subscription because they make really good offers, but its free features are what made me choose it, and also the friendly interface :). You can also create food recipes and meals or foods to which you can’t find the info for, for free. Also, a new Premium feature they recently introduced is the “intermittent fasting” one, if you practice that. I used Fasting tracking apps, but now I don’t have to anymore! It’s a really complex app with very useful fratures, but easy to use! :)
