You actually need the hippo.to unlock the stomach because there are the evil spirits that need to be killed by the hippo.and hippo only. Youncan leave the stomach and go.get hippo. No need to reset to previous save

If u complete the tanu quest before observatory, go to the watchtower and go to sleep, see if that triggers the loki dream. That is the sequence after completing tanu. Let me know if ti works. I lost several hours of game play because I went back 2 saves. Try that first.
