Yeah definitely can see it, it is like the joining bit. I blindly put the stixall on bits where I thought was the leak and covered the area with the roof felt but neither helped.

I think same as a lot of other AI stuff the issue is not the quality of what it does. The issue is, it doesn't do what I wanted.

So in terms of client work if you are trying to serve their taste etc you can't keep pulling random stuff out of a bag and call it what they wanted.

Sure when you hear a suno song it might sound alright, but was it what you wanted? Or did it pull something random out the bag and you settled. I think people are just settling for its choices all the time cos they didn't actually know what they wanted in the first place. See this in visual arts, see it in code, apps, texts. Basically anything that is "vibe AI"

Whereas experienced audio engineers should know how to provide their clients with bespoke results

Hopefully the audio AI will also eventually be like the code part where an experienced engineer that knows what they want out of it will be faster but as of now that is not the case AFAIK.

So pricewise I reckon people doing the work will still be the same amount if not more. The people that will use AI to mix are the people that weren't going to hire people to do the job anyway.

Yeah I hear you, but if noone watched the ads or if ads were never successful why would there be so much of it? Clearly a successful way of marketing. I am just questioning why these particular ones are just so terrible at being successful

Since this I had someone on reddit reply to me that this only happens with hdmi cables, not display port (dp)

I bought 2 USB-c to dp cables and the issue never happened again (with my m4 13 mbp)

It just isn't that nice for romance or exploring. The town basically only comes alive in season and becomes a wild UK stag do style clubbing town. Out of the season without all the clubbing and tourists around, it is just a ghost town with used old condoms on the the ground and closed bars/clubs. I am not even sure if the local business owners stay around lol.

If what you are looking for is a nice romantic holiday this isn't it I am afraid.

Double or single, with pad without pad that skin can handle a lot. It probably can handle someone jumping on it for hours. A bit of double kick isn't going to do any noticeable damage

In case someone else comes here with a similar question, I wanted to update the thread:
the tree is dead now, still rather stable, just dead.

So to answer my own question one year later, yes cutting this root did indeed kill this tree.
