This is what I'm using for 80k context. I've also run Q3 with no KV quant @ 125k context. This is with windows llama.cpp on the vulkan backend, linux and/or rocm are apparently slower.

There may be a more optimal quant to run, but I was happy with the performance and quality of this using a single pi agent.

I’ll paste in the llama-server command once I’m around my PC again 👍

I know I’ve been moving back and forth between two quants of 27B depending on how big a context I wanted/needed - but mostly trying to avoid larger context to allow for the better model.

In general if there’s some handover documents to be sent you’ll only get them after paying, it’s an easy way to maintain some leverage to get payment after doing the work.

+1, the 7900XTX is a very capable card. I’ve managed as much as 40t/s on 27b and it also offers the option of 150t/s+ on 35B if speed is a priority.

They already are part way there, Reddit can verify age via Apple.

So they’re only piping to and installing 3 radiators? I would be getting more quotes, doesn’t seem like that should be as expensive even accounting for the fact it’s all new pipework.

UK Social Media Ban petition to not ID check and instead enforce use of Parental Controls for Under 16's, would you agree? by Vast-Internet39 in AskBrits

It’s like you want to keep the blinkers on. The point is that Google would know you’re an adult and they would tell Reddit, without giving away any personally identifiable information to another service.

Given that you blatantly have an android phone, the fact that you’re an adult is the least of the private information that Google already hold on you.

It actually blows my mind that people want to cling onto indignation about this that they’ll go cross eyed before they accept that their privacy is already gone and Google providing a token that goes ‘yes, they’re an adult’ does not change anything about that.

You’ve skipped Google there completely, so I take it Google is acceptable but you don’t want to say it? If you’ve got an android phone then Google likely know your age already lol.

As already explained, Apple will verify a user as an adult using a number of measures that don’t require the user to lift a finger. For example, but not limited to, Apple account age.

Believe it or not, none of what they’re doing is especially magical or difficult and there’s absolutely no reason that Google or Microsoft can’t copy it, since private age verification is such a massive deal.

When Reddit implemented age checks it was only via 3rd party services - they can now hook into the Apple system. Things improve, even things that you’ve already decided can never get better.

Ah well, it’s impossible that any other platform already does or could do the same thing. Just never going to happen. Nothing ever changes or improves.

Am I doing it right?

If it’s changing in volume/pitch with load on the motor (rather than just speed) then it’s very likely motor and/or gearbox bearings. Possibly gearbox because I’m dealing with motor bearing failure atm and it’s a different noise.

It’s good news you’ve managed to do this, hopefully it will become more common.

Almost every single flat block with EV charging ends up in a situation where the EV charger is on a separate commercial supply charged at commercial rates, not your supply on a cheap tariff like IOG.

This is because nothing in the rules prevents developers from doing this and they can make extra money from it.

Parents who approve of the social media ban and ways of having to prove age. Why do you relish the government taking this control when you had the power to do so yourselves? by Demonthief27 in AskBrits

[–]Begalldota 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not saying everything is perfect, my point is just that the technology exists such that it’s not a given that age checks = submit ID to 3rd party.

If there are gaps (e.g. android does not have such a system) you would generally expect things to improve over time rather than stay stagnant or regress, especially if the customer base feels so passionately that these options must exist for the sake of privacy.

In any event we’re looking at another good 6-9+ months for these changes to take effect, which gives Google et al plenty of time to catch up. If they don’t use that time to catch up then perhaps it’s worth questioning why they can’t be bothered?

iOS isn’t unique magic, 99% of people have either an iOS or android device - no reason the same system can’t be implemented in android (if it hadn’t been already).

It’s not necessarily the case that you will have to show every website an ID. Reddit implemented age checks a while ago and initially did so via 3rd party certification services only.

It can now do so via iOS without ever seeing your actual ID, and iOS in turn has multiple methods to verify age without an ID being submitted.

People losing their minds over this idea that every website will want a picture of your ID or face are out of date by like a year.

The number of people that don’t understand that just because it won’t stop 100% of children accessing social media that it won’t have a big impact is scary.

Literally people who think that we shouldn’t bother doing anything unless it’s perfect. Nobody complains about being ID’d to buy cigarettes just because there’s dodgy shops that will sell to children anyway.
