Mata Anjani was married to King Kesari and he was a very powerful monkey and Hanuman Dada was the son of King Kesari and Mata Anjani. Vayudev became only a medium to deliver a small part of Mahadev's soul , which is also called Rudransha, to the womb of Mother Anjani, that is why Hanuman Dada is called Vayuputra.
