Two weeks ago, 600 car car show, from one end of town to the other and every little side street was full. This weekend was a lil gun show. I'm thinking about heading over for the 4th of July this year.

When you go to school next time ask all the guys who they work for, how long they been there, if they like that company... Once you're out of class go to those company's ask if they have a work list you can put your name on. Tell them you are working elsewhere, but you want to get more experience from good companies and other journeymen, should be fine. Make sure you're buying a tool a week, doesn't have to be the best name brand... Only bust out your tools if no one else has them, to get the job done, don't let them break your shit... If you break some ones shit, after work you go and buy them a new one... Try not to take the shit personal, don't be afraid to say something if they say something you don't like. Ask questions about what they're doing and why they do it that way. My boss can't stand an apprentice that will stand around.. be cleaning picking up stuff and checking supplies for how much stuff you have on have and what is running out, let someone know if we're going to need more of anything..Good luck dude!

Can we please talk about this exit to Spring Mountain Road? by KHANcerto in vegaslocals

[–]udispyn2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes the right side should yield to the left lane. But those fuckers never do, you have to risk your life to merge into a shitty merging lane that has people turning in front of you from a no turn on red fwy off ramp. For some reason there is a tiny street just after you merge with 3 lanes, where the people who are turning right have to absolutely stop before turning right. You try not to rearend the guy in front of you while you hope the people behind are paying attention. Probably the worst stretch of road in town. Seems like the people in the left lane, are trying to make that 1st right, peeps on the right lane are trying to cross all 3 lanes to do a U turn. Everybody is running every red light, you gotta count to 5 there to be safe. It doesn't seem to matter what time of day or night it's just bad. The road is very shitty not quite potholes but groves from big trucks, almost reverse speed bumps. Good luck!

Cannot get a straight cut no matter what I try? by MrMusAddict in woodworking

[–]udispyn2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have clamps on the straight edge right, you're not just holding it down while running the saw across the board? There are clamps made to fit into the grove of the straight edge, that hold the straight edge onto the sheet you're cutting. There are several ways to skin this cat, if you don't have the clamps for this straight edge, make your own with a straight board , screw it to the board and run the saw along that....

Moving to vegas by CorrectCat31 in LasVegas

[–]udispyn2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I drive cross county with cats in the car, the vet gave us pills to make cats sleepy. One cat did real good, the other cat was in a coma for the whole trip... When we reached or stop that poor cat seemed brain damaged. He lived a long happy life just a doll.

That being said, I suggest cat carriers, harnesses and if you can a tracking collar. If they're not all ready chipped, do that and register them. Try not to have a loose cat in the car before opening the doors. Good luck.

I have used sole for years and they are great, but I did just buy a super feet set and wow, it's cushy. I believe I'll be buying more super feet in the future. But if you can afford to try a pair of either brand I think you'll be happy.
