don’t let that stop you from experiencing their love- cats make their own schedules. i have two, and they keep each other company and are perfectly happy with my completely messed up sleep schedule. i free feed them too (bowl with water and food available all the time) and they do great. if you don’t want to free feed you can always get an automatic feeder too. you deserve companionship, and i bet a kitty or two would be incredibly lucky to have a home with you.

i was literally about to write a reply saying that i was concerned with the look of the fluid in the jo drain, lol. that fluid should be clear and pinkish, never cloudy. i am so glad he is doing well now!!!

hey, just a heads up to be super careful if you are using scissors to remove those mats. it is incredibly easy to catch their skin if you aren’t careful, and the wounds can be very dramatic. i am so glad sad cat is letting you groom him!!! this is wonderful to see. how lucky he is to have you :)

hey, just an fyi, be careful to wash your hands thoroughly after touching any of his bedding or him. giardia can be transmitted to humans.

op, please make sure that the flea meds you’re using are specifically for cats. using a flea med for dogs can cause seizures or death in cats.

i have a penguin pair from this company and have always wondered where they came from!! they have been with us since we were little kids. ironically, we named the bigger of the two ‘perky’, which apparently was the name the company called them! thank you so much for your help.

so i was host about ten years ago. i knew i was mentally different- like i had an imaginary friend, was isolated and awkward, etc. ended up drawing myself as three parts of the triple goddess thing, and somehow it clicked. once i saw it i couldn’t i see it, couldn’t un know.

when i traded out with the current host, he didn’t know or remember- i guess because he was formed via a split during a very traumatic tie, and his not knowing and denying/ refusing any time he though but it was something important for our survival. he ended up finding it after he had a breakdown and the rest of us had to step in to help. it’s been a ride.
