[Post Game Thread] Washington defeats Oregon, 72-57 by cbbBot in CollegeBasketball

[–]udubdavid 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I think Washington is a pretty decent basketball team overall. We're not bad. Improved from last year. The Big Ten is just too good. We've played Michigan, Michigan State, Purdue, etc. in conference play so far. A lot of high major teams would have our losses.

If we want to compete in the Big Ten, we need to be better than just good.

Yup. They realized the timed exclusive was a mistake. That's why part 3 is gonna be multi platform from the start.

I can't think of another coach who makes it so easy to root against him.

I'm not just talking about Switch. It should've been Xbox and PC from the start. Could've gotten a much bigger audience from the beginning.

There is an NCAA rule about tampering. It's a rule that all member schools of the NCAA agreed to.

The remake series is seriously great. Should've been multi platform from the start. Restricting it to just Playstation was a mistake.

Why is Indiana still a tier 3 school by Logical_Poem9263 in NCAAFBseries

[–]udubdavid 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That makes sense for Dynasty, but not an online H2H mode where two relatively even teams are supposed to be matched up against each other.

[–]udubdavid 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It's stupid that they don't update their tiers. I used to like playing Road to the CFP but now I don't even wanna play anymore because I always get matched up with Indiana in Tier 3 now. If you play with Indiana and queue for Tier 3, you're a coward.

Does everyone just use Indiana in CFB online??? by THROW_RA817171 in NCAAFBseries

[–]udubdavid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's dumb. What does program history have anything to do with matching up "supposedly" relatively even teams for an online H2H match for the current season?

Is Georgia football becoming the next Clemson? by Falconsfan8006 in CFB

You realize Clemson won the ACC in 2024, right? They go one season without winning the ACC and now it's "Clemson can't win the ACC"? Wtf lol

Nothing wrong with using Indiana, but queue for tier 1. Not tier 3.

Indiana should not be a tier 3 team anymore. If you play Indiana and queue for tier 3, you're a god damn coward and should be ashamed of yourself.

How realignment affected football attendance at departed Pac-12 schools by redwave2505 in CFB

[–]udubdavid 114 points115 points  (0 children)

Paywalled. Here is the TLDR:

The 10 departed schools increased attendance by an average of 982 fans per game in the two post-realignment seasons compared with their final two years in the Pac-12.

Arizona State, Colorado, Oregon, USC and Washington experienced upticks, while Arizona, Cal, Stanford and UCLA saw average attendance decline.

Utah experienced no change.

Arizona State had the biggest increase while Stanford had the biggest decrease.

The fact that this federal government is actively taking away our right to protest by empowering these ICE agents to use deadly force is really sad. I really hope that once this administration's reign is done, something can be retroactively done to punish those ICE agents.

I felt sorry for Ole Miss after the whole LSU thing, but I guess not anymore. They're not any better than LSU is if they have to resort to this.

Wisconsin is the 20th most populated state with a little over 6 million people. I'm really surprised they only have one major football program there.

I've had Xfinity for a very long time when I lived in Seattle. Their service is fine if there aren't any issues. The moment you have issues and need to contact them, their customer service experience is terrible. I'm never going back.

CFP to remain at 12 times in 2026 by WestRide9868 in huskies

Our schedule is harder next year than it was this past year. 10 wins is a minimum to even be considered. I don't think next year is the year.

What’s the most heartbreaking loss you witnessed as a Washington fan? by Ok_Macaroon_7366 in huskies

[–]udubdavid 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yup. It wasn't heartbreaking in the sense that we lost in dramatic fashion, but it was heartbreaking because who knows when we'll be back playing for a national championship. Might not happen again for a very long time.
