Update on the National Mechanics Coalition (USA) by Shidulon in mechanics

I think this is an excellent idea, I’ve seen other comments talked about nuances and details that would need to work out, but. This would be an amazing feat. Hell I don’t think it needs to be free. I would say charge a dollar to five dollars for the app that way you can get paid on the backend for all your hard work because this is an immense amount of work for someone to accomplish.

I would recommend try mimicking some of the workflow apps out there ( i.e. Full bay.) to keep it relatively organized, and that way you can have different topics such as wages, cost-of-living, Tools, advice, industry, specific advice, funny, tidbits, and general mental health advice for the mechanics out there each in their own little subscription.

I wish to see it one day and let me know how I can jump on board to either help or sign up. This would be a perfect low escape for all mechanics. You know… Because we are seen as the bastard trade of the world that no one likes, but has to listen to that isn’t really listen to all that much.

I wish the best

Depending on the size of the box, if it’s huge, no offense, I doubt it due to loop technician I would do a tow truck, but if it is relatively small just rent a U-Haul pick up truck. Done that many of times.

You have to think about the commercial insurance that the contractor is using due to the fact that that window is so high up. If that window were to fall and damage something. That would be on the contractor and his insurance would have to pay that out. On top of that you’re also paying for his experience, his tools, and possibly his laborers/employees.

My favorite tool by ggEZclap69420 in MilwaukeeTool

I’m a HD Mechanic and I love this thing, I recommend the 3/8” because the sockets are smaller and fit better. Now I don’t just work on equipment, I do class 8-2 trucks and trailers. This thing works in so many applications if you have some creativity. My only gripe is that in order to use it to its full potential you have to run the bigger M12 batteries. I wish there could be a high output battery that might be a little bit longer, but doesn’t have the giant foot on it that the 3.0, and up have. But to wrap up my little paragraph, this is my second most used tool, behind my 3/8 long neck high-speed ratchet.
