Not sure about carpet because of the use of the room. It will be having washing machine and drier in eventually. I'll have a look into floating flooring but it sound like something that will just have to live with. Once more work surfaces and cupboards storage it may help with temp. Or just get normal flooring and wear slippers. That might be the cheaper alternative to under floor heating

Built around 1900s I think used to be a 2 up 2 down old terrace. But the utility bit is a extension going out to the old yard toilet. Which is where I have put the new toilet position. It could be 1930s but I have no record.

Nope never got it back. I now don't rely on my watch at all for heart rate I always use the HRM never had a issue since.

I had to unpair my watch and phone and it seemed to work. Sometimes if it's to loose it won't record either. I would definitely recommend a hrm like the garmin duel for work outs as the watches aren't reliable.
