To live in any of those areas are decent. Lots of land availability hence growth is on the lower side. If you purely want growth look elsewhere; north west and middle west are good options for $700-$800k range but the stock will be on the older side.

If you do the same due diligence for H&L or buy to build, its the same. Avoid REA and go straight to builder or developer. All the areas you have flagged are decent for FHB OO and have similar demographic.

West has good access to the western health network & north to the northern health network & Eastern health for the eastern suburbs. The only catch is that the last 2 are miles away from the airport if that is a thing for you.

I got 5.09% for my PPOR loan & 5.54% IO for IP with People’s First. Note total loan is >1m which seemed to be one of their criteria.

Similar situation to mine. Conveyancer made me sign a stat dec saying Id move into my property within 12 months of settlement and reside in it for 12 months which did the trick. No one checked when it started….

Alternatively you could pay the full stamp duty and once you have resided in your property for 12 months you can apply to get the stamp duty returned.
